Huge clean room, whole facilities were very clean and nice shower. Hosts and house manager were super friendly and nice, including giving us a quick ride up the hill and shat9ng somw first aid stuff when I had a minor injury. Only difficulty was getting up to the place - our driver couldn't really get his car comfortably up the steep hill as the road isn't fully paved. the stairs aren't finished. I'm not sure that the property has any control over those things, though. Toilet was a little finicky - had to press flush twice for it.to stop flushing. Otherwise, a great stay, would stay there again.

The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the food, which was hands down the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka! Compliments to the chef for curating such exceptional dishes that left us speechless every single meal. The villa itself was beyond stunning—spacious, luxurious, and offering breathtaking views that made our 2-night stay unforgettable. Waking up to those views was an experience in itself. From the impeccable service to the incredible ambiance, everything about our time at Lemon Grass Villa was simply perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway and can’t wait to return. Sri and his family were very caring and made sure that I was comfortable and had all I needed. The room is spacious with balcony and attached bathroom. Clean and comfortable. Sri picked me up from the station, helped with sightseeing arrangements, train ticket and patiently answered the many questions I had regarding onward travel within Sri Lanka. Breakfast was awesome – a different spread each day – all of which were delicious! I would definitely stay here if I were to visit Kandy again. Thank you, Sri! (and family…you are awesome too!)
