I stayed here in July with a last-minute booking, but the warm welcome made me feel right at home. Upon arrival, they helped me park and quickly showed me to my room, which was very clean. There’s no air conditioning, but a pleasant breeze comes through the window, and the mosquito net allowed me to sleep comfortably even though I usually dislike bugs. The hotel is in a great location—just a few minutes’ walk to the beach. Nearby, there are shops selling beer, wine, and ice, as well as a delicious and affordable Sri Lankan restaurant right next door (takeout available). There’s no fridge in the room, but the owner kindly let me use their family fridge to chill my drinks. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. They were always around and ready to assist with anything. As a guest, I could book snorkeling tours to Pigeon Island and dolphin & whale watching trips at a special rate. Even same-day bookings were arranged smoothly, including transport to the meeting point. Communication via WhatsApp was easy and efficient. I had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back next time I visit Sri Lanka. Thank you to the owner and the whole family for a lovely time!

You will have your morning coffee with a cat on your lap (or 3), spend your day at the beautiful beach no more than 5 minutes walk away and spend your evening wanting to talk to Prashanth and hearing about his life and the history of Sri Lanka. Beautiful room, beautiful pool, beautiful property. Lovely helpful staff attending to everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious (loved their version of sambol with peppers and basil). Dinners were lovely too. We recommend this boutique hotel if you are looking for quiet, serene, chill beauty. Loved the sweetest doggies and cats.
