The property also offers accommodation for disabled guests. Wow, what a little gem this place is. Highly recommend letting the Wildhideaway team look after you while you visit Wilpattu National Park. The suite was very spacious even for a family of 4. The bathroom was huge and modern with a nice hot water shower. The plunge pool was delightful, so refreshing. Location was so quiet and the air conditioner worked perfectly so made for very comfortable sleep. They arranged our full day safari at a good price, we didn’t need to do anything but turn up. They packed breakfast and lunch for us and then had dinner ready when we came home! The thing that made this place so special was the warm and friendly service from Anta and his team. Always there with a huge smile, making us feel so welcome, and the food they made for us (as vegetarians) was SO delicious, the best we’ve had in 3 weeks in Sri Lanka.

The hotel can help with the safari booking, and they provide a complete breakfast packed into a box for the guests to take on the safari and eat during. The staff were very attentive, they provided us with water bottles on request and modified the food to suit our needs upon request. There is a wonderful restaurant attached to the hotel from which the food was great, there is varied options including western and traditional foods.

Safari was also excellent and great value for money. We saw leopards, bears and elephants and all of our questions were expertly answered throughout. The facilities were also brilliant and clean and the accommodation was lovely.
