It is small, and the staff really take notice of how to make everything amazing. It was my husband's birthday - and I emailed them - just letting them know. They decorated the bed, and then surprised him with a special dessert and candle, etc. They arranged our safari, and packed a bag for us when we left at 5am. (And we saw leopards and elephants!) The food was great and the beds and linens - top notch. We loved every minute of our 2 night stay. Highly recommend this when staying near Yala!

The entire Tribe Yala staff works hard to provide a beautiful stay in nature with kindness and attention to all your needs. Camp is beautiful, having dinner by the fire under the sky has no price and the Safari experience is so good as well! Last but not least: we were three people with special need in terms of food - one of us was gluten and dairy free, another vegetarian - and they cooked yummy alternatives for each one of us. Definitely recommended for a beautiful stay :)

I can't say enough great things about this homestay! They arranged our transfer from Ella and arranged a morning and afternoon safari for us. We were greeted with a delicious cold coconut water, in the coconut. We chose the breakfast and dinner option which makes so much sense because the town is a bit of a walk and after a safari all day (4:30 am to 6:30 pm) it is great to have dinner at the homestay. Both dinners we had were excellent, I think the best food we've had in Sri Lanka! They also pack a breakfast to go on your safari day because of leaving so early. When you wake up they have coffee and bananas for you before leaving. Our room was a great size, ac and hot water worked well. The owners are very kind, friendly and even drove us to the bus stop, stayed with us and made sure we got on the right bus. I highly recommend Tissa Rainbow for your stay while exploring Yala National Park, you won't regret it!

The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi. This was the best hotel I stayed in Sri lanka. We booked 2 rooms and found out the whole villa is ours. The hostess was extremely friendly and helpful. The cleanness of the rooms, size of the room amazing, location in a peaceful quiet very beautiful place, close to the river. We missed the barbecue though. But teh terrace and balcony are worth to try it.

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Mailagama Cinnamon Residence is a recently renovated guest house set in Kataragama, 21 km from Situlpawwa. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The guest house also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. We like the people, especially the manager Inbaraj, who is a great and kind man. He showed us the cinnamon plantations and explained how everything is used, he was so kind. We liked the dinner, the best chicken curry we tried so far in Sri Lanka, also there was a desert, we liked a lot. The room was clean, sanitized, everything was great, the view from our room was great. Mr. Inbaraj also treat us with the best papaya juice, coffee and the plantation harvests. We are so grateful and happy that we choose this place for our stay in Yala. The place is also near the Yala park, which was great as well.
