We never met in person but they were always answering WhatsApp in one second. (Thank you for everything!) The room was very clean and nice. Cleaning and new towels possible every day. Some cosmetics in the bathroom. A bit small room but for few nights it was ok. Great WiFi and perfect location.

At the resort, every room is fitted with a balcony that opens up to views of the sea and the mountain. Friendly staff! They help u anytime! Resort is peaceful and good place for being offline. Food is good! I would recommend this place if you want to take easy and relax. Check weather if u are coming in rainy season by car. We had to leave our rental car at the Dragon Pearl beach because flood was closed the road.

They have the elevator, so do not worry if you have big luggage or many items to carry. A friendly lady at the counter, she welcomed us nicely and even bit farewell to us till the door.

All the essentials are available on-site, including kayak and snorkeling gear rentals, which made exploring the area super convenient. One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the food. Sook Peng, Fred’s wife, is not only an incredible cook but also a truly warm and welcoming person. Sharing meals with her was a joy, and her cooking made every meal memorable. There are also cozy hammocks for relaxing, and the peaceful atmosphere made it easy to unwind. We couldn't recommend this place more highly—it's a rare gem built with heart and purpose. Oh, I was almost forgetting, both land and transport are organized by the Fred and Sook Peng and everything went super smooth! Terima kasih Fred and Sook Peng!

Located in Lahad Datu, HAKS Boutique B&B with Pool & Farm-to-Table Dining provides accommodation with air conditioning and access to a garden. The property features pool and garden views. Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. What a well kept, clean, friendly BnB. My husband and I arrived early (not intentionally) and Simon was so accommodating and pleasant. The room was everything we needed and the garden and pool were a bonus. Unfortunately we stayed on a Sunday when there was no supper service; everyone raved about the suppers. We did however enjoy a great breakfast! I would recommend this BnB in a heartbeat!
