This property is 25 hectares and located on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. If you feel like visiting the surroundings, Utrecht's city centre is 15 km away and the centre of Driebergen is at walking distance. Schiphol Airport is 61 km from the accommodation. The room was spacy, very clean, bed was very comfortable and the facilities were excellent. One point of note is the design of the bathroom and its proximity to the bed - in other words you could hear everything going on in the bathroom! But this should not detract from a superb stay and we will be back.

The accommodation is situated within a cycling- and walking area. Guests can receive road maps at the reception. There are special arrangements with bike rental and packed lunch. On location, a locked bicycle shed and a charging point for electric bicycles are available. Dogs are only allowed upon confirmation of the hotel. Light and airy rooms, very clean. Quiet leafy surroundings. I liked the focus on eco and sustainable products in the bathroom. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Lots of free parking space. Location is opposite a forest with many walking and cycling trails, yet very close to the town centre.

The hotel offers rooms that are furnished with private facilities. Breakfast is served in the morning. Check in was fast and easy. Did use the sauna during my stay, it is a small sauna (3-4 max) but it worked great. Parking was easy and right in front of the hotel.

The interior is really beautiful and the apartment is equipped with everything you might need. The bed is super comfortable and there is so much space in the place, I could’ve stayed for weeks. You can walk to the train station and the connection to Utrecht is really good.

They were ALL so helpful. Ghislaine, one of the property hosts welcomed us and showed us around and gave great suggestions. She made us feel like we knew her forever. We can’t wait to go back. The experience and ambience at Voltaire restaurant is unforgettable. It was amazing. Every bit worth it. We loved it.
