This is an excellent property in every way: we found it to be clean, comfortable and it had everything we needed. The hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful, and we were grateful that they shared their local knowledge with us. The view of the fjord from the house is amazing. We stayed for 8 nights and found plenty to do, including visiting Nordkapp, Hammerfest, Sorøya, the Lillefjord waterfall and the stones at Trollholmen. In addition, we enjoyed some lovely local walks and seeing the reindeer wandering by the house. We totally recommend a stay here.

A good location for a hassle-free holiday in Vadsø, Ekker Island Arctic Lodge is a holiday home surrounded by views of the garden. The property features a garden, barbecue facilities and parking on-site among other facilities. Boasting luggage storage space, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. The accommodation features a sauna, free WiFi throughout the property and family rooms. An ideal location--we stayed twice.

Situated 20 km from Alta’s town centre, along the Alta River, is this special igloo hotel. The impressive 2,000 m² structure is made entirely from snow and ice every year and offers guests a unique experience. We loved our stay in the ice hotel. This year's theme was the greek pantheon and the sculptures were gorgeous. We stayed in a suit, which is well worth the upgrade. We did many hikes in the area and enjoyed our time here immensely. The staff were helpful and friendly, the food was exceptional, and both the main hotel and the ice hotel are stunning. The staff even let us know when northern lights were out! Thank you all for such a memorable stay.

It features a bedroom with the most comfortable bed we've ever had on our travels, a bathroom, and a living area. Everything is new, cozy, and very clean. The host is very friendly and prepared a delicious continental breakfast for us. The location is beautiful and quiet, with no traffic noise. The bedroom window offers a view of the Kirkenesfjord, where we also saw the Northern Lights dancing above us. Kirkenes town center is just a two-minute walk away. The airport is a 15-minute drive away. We are glad we stayed at Palmehagen. It won't be our last time. A big thank you to Tommy, our host.
