Situated 20 km from Alta’s town centre, along the Alta River, is this special igloo hotel. The impressive 2,000 m² structure is made entirely from snow and ice every year and offers guests a unique experience. The whole experience was as expected - excellent. In addition to the ice facilities there is a whole bunch of "ice free" spots: the top quality restaurant, a cozy big living-room with a fireplace, and some trails outside to have a nice walk. The northern lights we saw was just pleasant addition to all of the above.
