We have been travelling in NZ for six weeks. This place BAR NONE is THE BEST. When my wife empties her entire suitcase, we know this is a special place. IF you are visiting the Napier area and you do NOT stay here, you are making a huge mistake

Ashcott Homestead Bed & Breakfast has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Takapau. The property features lake and garden views. Guests can make use of outdoor furniture if they wish to dine or sit outside. The breakfast's (Saturday and Sunday) were excellent in all aspects, setting, options and volume (cooked breakfast) and coffee!! The history of the homestead is amazing and the presentation fantastic.

The pictures don’t do it justice, and it seemed odd to have “boutique hotel” in the name - but it really is that: a high-end boutique hotel. Highly recommended
