At the lodge guests are welcome to take advantage of a hot spring bath. It‘s location above the river, the abundance of flowers and fruit trees and the architecture of natural stones which is nestled into the rocks and hangs of the canyon is simply stunning. There are hotsprings, not the iconic baths next to the river, but a more private and calm space up the hill underneath banana trees. The staff was really nice and helpful, dinner and breakfast good!

There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. The views from the rooms and from the main common areas were absolutely incredible. This is a great place to wake early and look for the condors and many many other birds. The grounds are a stunning garden of flowers and sweet-smelling herbs. It was fantastic having a slow morning soaking in the views and enjoy the stunning scenery. The dinner was one of our best in Peru, which we did not expect! Terrific soups, perfectly cooked meat and wonderful flavors. We had herbal tea freshly picked from the garden.

Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Don’t skip the breakfast! It was hands down the best we’ve had in South America. Gorgeous terrace overlooking the vulcanos, fresh fruit and a very tasty granola. Staff were very accommodating!

Luna bus station is 100 metres away. It’s basically a hostel in a beautiful hotel, with buffer breakfast! The beds are comfy and the equipment is great.

Located 300 metres from the main square and Mercaderes street and right behind the Monastery of Santa Catalina (built in 1579), Las Torres de Ugarte offers free Wi-Fi and buffet breakfast in central Arequipa. It combines modern and colonial decor. The staff was amazing: super sweet and helpful! They were always ready to help and even send us a message after a small item we forgot. Super thank you!
