We spent 2 nights at Hospedaje Mario in Taquile and it was an incredible and heart-warming experience! Mario and his wife Julia showed us around the island and taught us about the traditions, crafts and way of life of the people of Taquile. They were so welcoming, kind and helpful, and Julia cooked an amazingly delicious meal for us in the evenings!
The room was simple but clean, with enough blankets to keep us warm on the cold nights.
An unforgettable experience! We really enjoyed our stay at this homestay in Taquile and had the honour of experiencing life on this quiet and amazing island!
