But for sure our favourite part of it was the huge terrace on the roof. It is like you are on the top of the village and in front of you is the entire ocean with the unique green landscapes of Flores with its amazing waterfalls. This view you don't want to leave. The village, although quite small is very lively with nice places to have lunch and dinner. There are great bathing spots within walking distance. Everything during our stay was perfect and we hope to come back again some day.

The hosts really did the utmost to make us feel welcome: they even managed to enable a very early check-in for us, as we arrived in the morning. Coffee tabs for the nespresso machine and other goodies were offered!, and a word of welcome (in French) on the kitchen whiteboard. We had detailed instructions for everything and humidity was not a problem at all! We did not cook, just prepared breakfast, and had little time to enjoy the view, as we were constantly on tour. Going out to restaurants in the evening requires driving… or uphill walking with a full belly, but even the latter is feasible.

The host left some food for breakfast for us which was very appreciated, and we especially enjoyed the local pineapple jam. The house had everything you need for your stay. It was clean and quiet. Highly recommend to stay here!
