It is situated less than 1 km from Almirante Reis Beach and features a lift. The aparthotel has family rooms and facilities for disabled guests. Great property! Very clean and comfortable!

Set in Machico, S A L - Beach Apartments Caniçal is a recently renovated accommodation, 22 km from Santana's Traditional Houses and 30 km from Marina do Funchal. The property has mountain and garden views, and is 500 metres from Beach Pedradeira. The guest house features family rooms. Great place with all necessary staff for travellers. A lot of cafes and restaurants just in a few minutes walks. Pedro is a super friendly and active host, who gave a plenty of local recommendations and directions. Coffee machine with the capsules did my mornings happy)

The place itself is beautiful and very comfortable, with an incredible view that you will never forget. Everything was perfectly clean and well taken care of, which made us feel very comfortable from the first moment. The kitchen is fully equipped, so it’s very easy to cook if you prefer to have meals at home. The beds are really comfortable, and the whole apartment is quiet, which guarantees a good night’s sleep. The Wi-Fi works perfectly — fast and stable, which was very convenient. The hosts are extremely kind and friendly, always ready to help, and they even leave little tasty treats as a gift — such a lovely touch. The location is very convenient: there is a bus stop right outside the building, and the bus takes you to almost all the main spots in Funchal. If you prefer, taxis are also easy to get and quite affordable — sometimes even cheaper than the bus. Overall, this is an amazing place to stay with excellent value for money. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again. Highly recommended!
