We thought about doing some exploring in the area but in the end were so comfortable and relaxed that we stayed at the property each day to chill in the pool area and garden. The hosts are simply amazing. So friendly and helpful. There’s a genuine homely and family feel to the place. The evening meal was very tasty and balanced each evening and the breakfast was quite varied and generous. The location is quite remote and off the beaten track. A recently renovated guest house in Novo Mesto, Apartment Sobe Ravbar offers outdoor fireplace, private parking and sports facilities. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. The guest house features family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests. I had a brief but enjoyable stay! Very friendly host. Centrally located less than a five minute walk into the historic area of town. I had a clean, large comfortable apartment with kitchen. Parking is included and is just outside the reception entrance so it could not be easier or more convenient. Grocery store is just across the street if needed. At check in I was offered optional breakfast (10 euro) which was a very good selection of breakfast items plus I was offered eggs/ omelette and coffee.

Breakfast and dinner were excellent, featuring fresh, local ingredients and homemade specialties that showcased the best of Slovenian cuisine and an incredible selection of wines. They were also kind enough to accommodate my dietary restrictions, ensuring that every meal was a delightful experience. Novak Guesthouse is a special place, and we hope to visit again in the future!
