The location and surroundings are so tranquil and the resort allows for a total switch off from normal life.

It was amazingly quiet area for being in the city. The place clean, well equipped good price, and included a light breakfast. So enjoyable and relaxing. We found street parking easily. .

Each villa at Koh Mook Sivalai Beach Resort has air conditioning. All also include satellite TV and free bathroom amenities. Some villas offer outdoor living space. Everything. We stayed one night at Sivalai because the room at the orher resort where we were staying had problems. unfortunately it was already prepaid otherwise we would have moved to Sivalai. Sivalai's beach is the only really clean beach in the area. We were shocked at how much rubbish is lying everywhere else. The rooms are not the newest but they're extremely well maintained and sparkling clean. The food at the restaurant is good and reasonable priced. it was really a bliss the night we stayed there.

We had a great breakfast every morning, and Tan brought us to see his father’s boat, for a hike and to a nice beach. Cheryln is also very cute and funny. The rooms are clean, and there’s plenty of space to sit and relax on the terrace outside.

The best thing about the property though has to be the hosts! What a lovely couple. They were so kind to myself and my partner and made us feel very welcomed and totally at home. We had some cool conversations where one of the hosts demonstrated her impressive English! She also educated us on the 2 different types of mango trees they have on the land and also prepared one of the sweet fruits for us, it was delicious! The husband also makes his own coffee and we were lucky enough to try that too! I believe we tried a medium roast and it did not disappoint. But as a whole, the hosts really made our stay special.
