There are plenty of restaurants around the area. It is even close to shops like Uniqlo, Net, Cosmed, Watsons, and Mistukoshi. Since we like to walk, we walked from Ximending Night Market back to our hotel twice in a row, at ease! The room we stayed in was big and clean. We really liked the drink freebies daily. The hotel staff let us leave our luggage so we could roam around freely, since our flight was in the evening.

This prime location offers seamless connectivity and a full spectrum of urban conveniences. This hotel turned out to be a hidden gem. Grat place. I like the design. Nothing special, but small original details show perfectionism towards details. For example, painting on the walls, in the elevator; great slogans put here and there; funny cover for the key card; wize arrangement of furniture and lights in the room; attractive colors of the lobby... Rooms are spacious, which is not so usual in Taiwan. Great location. You can use the elevator to access the metro station directly. The staff is friendly and the room is clean.

Completely remodelled from an old building, 丹迪旅店-天津店 Dandy Hotel - Tianjin Branch provides modern boutique rooms with free Wi-Fi. Guests can make use of the shared washing machine and clothes dryer for free. We recently stayed at The Dandy Hotel in Taipei and we were really impressed! Despite being a 3-star hotel, the service was definitely at a 4-star level. The staff went above and beyond – they even gave us a courtesy call for checkout time without us asking, and were super flexible with storing our bags before and after our stay. The room itself was a pleasant surprise. It was much bigger than what you typically get in Taipei, and spotlessly clean. The bed was really comfortable and we slept great – it was nice and quiet too. The bathroom was a highlight with amazing shower pressure and lovely lemongrass-scented toiletries. Just a heads up though – the shower is over the bath, which was quite narrow. There's a handrail to help you get in and out, but it might be tricky for older travelers. One thing I loved was being able to open the window for fresh air, though don't expect any views. The location was really convenient, just a short walk to the station. Breakfast was pretty average overall, but they did have some nice cakes. Oh, and if you're looking for last-minute gifts, they have some cute items like soaps and keyrings at reception – really came in handy for me! The only real downside was the breakfast not being anything special, but honestly, everything else made up for it. The fantastic service, clean and comfortable room, and convenient location make this place a gem. I'll definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Taipei!

San Want Residences Taipei is a luxurious hotel located along Nanjing East Road, a 10-minute walk from Zhongshan MRT. It offers a fitness centre, free in-room internet, and all-day complimentary coffee and tea at the lounge. Very comfortable stay. The place is clean and the service is very good. They treat all people the same regardless of race. I would definitely stay again.

Ambience Hotel Taipei is 12 minutes' drive from Taipei Songshan Airport and 40 minutes' drive from Taoyuan International Airport. Taipei 101 is a 15-minute drive away. Songjiang Nanjing Subway Station is a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Love Ambience hotel and choose it whenever we come to Taipei! The stuff is very nice and warm, and eager to help! The room is light and spacious, with bathtub shower. Shower is separated from the bathtub and toilet with the wall so bathroom won't get wet easily. The breakfast is simple but nutritious, the hotel is also provide drinks and complimentary snacks nearly from 9pm to 5 am. There are lots of options for dining and shopping nearby, also several parks. Unlike many other hotels the checkout time is 12 pm which is very convenient.

At night, the street which is hotel is at will be filled with food carts and restaurants are all open. The interior are exactly like the pictures, room size is definitely considered big. Snack bar are free and replenished everyday. You can also do laundry at the hotel and they provide free laundry pods so you wont have to worry about it! The hotel exceeded all expectations, you can literally chill in the room all day long because it is that comfortable. Lastly, I LOVE the scent in the hotel. It is so pleasant and comforting. I need to know the brand of the scent they are using because I want it at home too ;_;
