The room was great and the kitchen very well equipped. The view of the beach was fantastic. You could lie in bed and watch the ocean. The staff recommended restaurant in Newport was very good, fresh fish, fresh vegetables and rice.

Waking up to sunrise over the water was just part of the magical loveliness of this thoughtfully renovated and decorated bungalow and its stunning views of Siltcoos Lake and the Westlake area. Take supplies as there are no stores here, and enjoy a secluded getaway right on the water.

What a great time we had at Tyee! First of all the warm welcome from Shawn made us feel comfortable immediately. The room is very nice; good bed, nice bathroom and a place to sit with great chairs and a perfect view. Normally I don’t like just ‘sitting’ in a hotelroom that much but with these comfortable chairs, view on the sunset and a bottle of wine it was just perfect. Also a big plus for the living room, garden and facilities. The breakfast was really good and we had a good time talking to the other guests during it. Finally the great location, so close to the beach, makes it really a wonderful place to which i would definitely come back to again!

Fabulous location, beautiful fit out and well thought out, staff were welcoming and helpful. the complimentary canapés and drinks were such a nice idea. the complimentary breakfast was also very good. We loved this hotel and were sorry we were only staying one night.

It's an incredibly quiet place, perfect for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I found myself relaxing like never before, with nothing but the soothing sounds of the ocean to accompany me. And let's not forget the view! The ocean view from the hotel is nothing short of spectacular. I spent countless hours gazing out at the horizon, watching the waves roll in and feeling completely mesmerized by the beauty of nature. It's a view that truly enhances the overall experience of staying at the Ocean House. The staff were attentive and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their warm hospitality added a personal touch that made me feel right at home. In conclusion, I can't recommend the Ocean House hotel enough. It's a hidden gem that offers a unique combination of proximity to the ocean, delicious breakfasts, tranquility, and breathtaking ocean views. If you're looking for a perfect getaway, this is the place to be.

Absolutely love Shirley. She is the sweetest lady. She made our first time at a bed and breakfast an amazing experience. And we definitely will return not just for the location but because of Shirley. And the breakfasts were so yummy 😋 Thank you Shirley!❤️

We enjoyed the atmosphere and the quietness of the property. The location was great. This was our first stay in a Tiny House. It was a unique experience.

We loved our room with the fireplace and balcony, especially with the nice kitchenette and dining area to enjoy the view. It was a special touch to have a bottle of champagne waiting with a Happy Anniversary note and treats as well! Late hot tub access was also enjoyed!
