Amazing scenery, lots of wildlife, nice and friendly people... Our guide, Steven, was the best, : friendly, helpfull and loads of knowledge about life, the animals, nature... answered al our questions (and we had thousands of questions). Tents are well furnished, very good beds (with electric blankets!). Every evening there's an enormous campfire. The food was devine! We have 2 vegetarians in our family, and they received adapted meals. Those ladies really spoiled us !

Summerset Place Country House is set against the foot of the Waterberg and adjacent to a private game reserve. The country house has a swimming pool and is situated just 3 km away from the town centre of Bela Bela. Very nice tranquil place with beautiful gardens. We sat outside in the gardens in the evening for our take away meal. Beautiful views from the picnic area. Breakfast was excellent. Very classy establishment

Offering game drives, wildlife viewing opportunities and a swimming pool, Mologa River Lodge is nestled in the African bushveld between Rust de Winter Dam and the Gauteng hills.

Some of the chalets feature a private deck with views of the Eland River and the surrounding bushveld. They each come with satellite TV, small fridge and tea-and-coffee making facilities. The en suite bathroom includes a bath and double shower, and some units also boast an outdoor shower. The place looks just as amazing as it did the first time we visited. The staff are friendly and helpful, and it truly feels like a space to relax. This was our second visit, yet the beauty of the place still takes my breath away.

Everything was great , staff was super friendly, food was amazing especially Moyo our Safari driver made our experience unforgetable

Marula Cottage is a 10-minute drive from Thabazimbi in the Limpopo Province. The thatched farmhouse offers views of the Waterberg Mountains and is situated 7 km from the Marakele National Park.

Each air-conditioned room is decorated in neutral tones and features a patio with mountain views. It comes equipped with a minibar and tea-and-coffee-making facilities. The private bathroom includes a shower with free toiletries. On our roadtrip to Botswana we stayed at Marula Cottage Lodge for three nights in total (two on the way to Botswana and one on the way back to the Airport in Johannesburg). We highly recommend staying with Monika and Dave! The Lodge is located in a beautiful quiet area near Thabazimbi. The rooms are comfortable and equipped with everything one could need. We really enjoyed the breakfast and especially the freshly cooked dinners. From the lodge it’s only a short drive to Marakele National Park, which is also worth a visit. Overall we want to thank Monika and Dave for their amazing hospitality, helpful advice and great contribution to our vacation. We hope to be back soon!

They were so kind and even helped with my car, making sure it was safe and well taken care of — something I truly appreciate. The guesthouse is located in a quiet and very safe neighborhood, which gave me complete peace of mind throughout my stay. It’s also incredibly affordable for the quality and experience you get.
