We chose this beautiful place for our stay during Ironman Klagenfurt. We wanted somewhere relaxing but not too far from the race venue and this was perfect. I cannot describe how beautiful the scenery is and our suite at villa stern had a beautiful balcony and private terrace area to enjoy nature at its best. The whole of villa stern looks newly refurbished with a mix of modern and traditional furniture, The bathroom is a good size with lovely walk in shower, the water pressure was great and never short of hot water.. we had a separate lounge area to the bedroom. Both the lounge and bedroom opened out onto the balcony all with direct views to the pool and amazing forests. It is absolutely peaceful. Every morning breakfast is served from 8-10am, but on race day they prepared it for us for 4 am. The hosts are a couple and they are fantastic. They are so accommodating and will do anything to help make your stay comfortable. The breakfast was everything from hot cooked breakfast, to cheese and cold cuts, to cereals, yoghurts, fruits, croissants and regional delicacies, as well as a great coffee machine and a mix of teas and fruit juices. I cannot fault the cleanliness it was immaculate and they change the linens whenever you wanted and organised the room cleaning when you wanted too. The hosts also provide trips to venice which is just 2.5 hours away or if you go in winter they can take you just 30 mins down the road to a ski resort. The Villa Stern also has some bikes if you want to take them out for a ride. There is a cycle track just a couple of hundred metres down the road so it's really convenient. Viktring is just 10km down the road and there you can find shops and restaurants, but you will soon come to know that the villages surrounding lake klagenfurt are full of places to visit and dine. We had a fantastic time and are coming back next year for sure.

The villa is fantastic. The hosts are wonderful. Breakfast was amazing. We cycled around the Wörthersee, and this was a great place to relax.

Clean, comfortable and well furnished apartment. The garden was also lovely, especially for the kids who really enjoyed all of it. It is in a calm location, close to shopping (a spar is 2 min away by car) and some minutes away from lakes. We really recommend to families.

In ruhiger Lage begrüßt Sie das Hotel Pachernighof nur 4 km vom Wörthersee und von Velden entfernt. It's a great location, very peaceful, relaxing, has a great area around the hotel to relax. Very enjoyable pool area near the hotel on the green grass with deckchairs available where you can be on the sun or in the shade. The breakfast was great, full of choices. Friendly staff, always at disposal, but never intrusive. Highly recommend the hotel!

Das 2017 renovierte, von einem großen, gepflegten Garten umgebene Vitalhotel Marienhof genießt eine ruhige Lage nur 10 Gehminuten vom Wörthersee und dem Zentrum von Velden entfernt. Staff is really friendly and welcoming, bed and pillows are extremely comfortable, and the hotel is pretty well furnished with a lot of amenities as a seimming pool, a sauna, restaurant, a gym.

Die Unterkunft Haus Kaiser, die in Schiefling am Wörthersee, 15 km von Stift Viktring entfernt gelegen ist, verfügt über Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einem saisonalen Außenpool, einem kostenlosen... Everything was amazing. The location is very convenient to explore the different areas around by car or motorbike. The room had everything we needed, the view is beautiful and the shared big garden with the pool is really enjoyable. Special mention to the hosts who are super super nice, kind and friendly. We didn't want to leave! but for sure will be back to spend more days in the house :)
