Die Unterkunft HOTEL POSADA DEL MAR, die in Providencia gelegen ist und von der aus Strand Fresh Water Bay in weniger als 300 m erreichbar ist, bietet Nichtraucher Zimmer, einen Garten, kostenloses... Es war super, dass wir früh einchecken konnten – das war sehr nett. Das Frühstück war richtig gut, besonders die frischen Säfte haben uns gefallen. Die Mitarbeitenden sind zweisprachig (Englisch und Spanisch) und sehr freundlich. Die Lage direkt am Meer ist außergewöhnlich schön, mit bequemen Liegen am Strand und am Pool. Die Klimaanlagen und das Internet funktionierten einwandfrei. Das Badezimmer hatte eine große Dusche, und es gibt sowohl einen Pool als auch eine Außendusche. Betten wurden nach 2 Tagen gewechselt. Die Bewohner der Insel sind sehr herzlich und heißen Touristen willkommen, sodass man sich wirklich wohl und willkommen fühlt.

Felt like a real treat staying here. The hosts are absolutely lovely too.

The location is excellent, just 15 min away from the access to Crab Cay (a must see). Mr Lyndon is friendly and attentive. He provided us with a motorbike for rent and was always available for what we needed. The apartment is fully functional, comfy beds with a nice air conditioning, wind is always going through the apartment, so you can feel a nice breeze and dry clothes at the same time.

This was one of the best accomondations we stayed in a long time. The owner was extremely nice, incredibly helpful and really attentive. Also the apartment and the rest of the facilities were extremely clean. We also loved the clean pool, the laundry maschine and the quiet location. 1000% recommend!

We had a fantastic time at Monasterio del Viento! It exceeded our expectations, especially since this was our first time visiting Providencia, and we weren’t sure how the island had recovered from the 2020 hurricane. The hotel is beautifully decorated with great attention to detail, creating a tranquil and luxurious retreat. Alvaro, Melie, and the two ladies who cooked were all amazing—so welcoming and attentive. We still think about the delicious ceviche we had for lunch! We deeply appreciate all the effort put into making Monasterio del Viento such a luxurious and well-run option on Providencia—it truly shows. Herbert was incredibly easy to communicate with and arranged everything we needed seamlessly. The level of service was truly five-star, and we’ve already told many friends that if they ever visit Providencia, Monasterio del Viento is the only place to consider!

The cabanas are lovely, set in a nice garden with even a pool that is useful after a day at the beach. The interior of the cabanas is basic but they are clean, spacious, with fridge and air conditioning and an outdoor space. The staff is friendly and helpful and the included breakfast is good and complete. I had read negative reviews and honestly don't see the point. The beach in front no longer exists because of the hurricane that hit the island a few years ago, the bar/restaurant La Terrazza in front offers sunset views and really good cocktails. Providencia is still an island little exploited by mass tourism, but there is a lot of restaurants , especially on the beach, really nice and good, with delicious fish and lobster. There are sunflies and mosquitos but with a good repellent they are kept away 😉
