You couldn’t wish for better hosts and room/ garden / kitchen facilities / location and maybe I was lucky but all the other guests ( maximum of 12 ,at a time ) were amazing people . My 10 days were making great new friends , very kind and genuine people seem to gravitate to this beautiful hotel . You will see monkeys in the trees and wake to their howls & the bird life and that’s it , no road noise , leisurely coffee and breakfast then onto your day :) Absolutely faultless , highly highly recommend . The staff is amazing, kind, attentive, super friendly, and eager to make sure you have an unforgettable experience. The food at Taru restaurant is marvelous, the wine cellar has an amazing wine selection, and the sommelier takes the time to show you all the options you have. The room had a work area, which was perfect since I had a couple of meetings. The internet never failed. The coffee in the room was perfect, making you feel so comfortable that you don't have to leave. The entire place is designed for you to enjoy, relax, and be worry-free. They pick you up and bring you back from your private suite to the restaurant, pool, or just because...... They genuinely care about you so that, as a guest, you don’t have to worry about anything except relaxing and having a great time.

Unlike at other accommodations, we didn't have to eat Gallo Pinto for breakfast every day, but could instead choose from a wide variety of delicious brunch options directly from the restaurant/bar. The staff were friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed — from arranging surf lessons to recommending great local restaurants. We were mainly in touch with Augustin, who took excellent care of us. Overall, we were delighted with our stay and can highly recommend this place.
