Situé dans un magnifique cadre de Lakeland surplombant un ruisseau idyllique, le Glencree se trouve entre les villages de Bowness et Windermere. Everything was excellent , the setting and proximity to the town. The room and bathroom were spacious, well decorated and clean. Breakfast was first class. A very enjoyable experience and will stay again next year when in the area

Loved the pool area and outside Jacuzzi which I only just learned was hot!!! Food Amazing. Love Manuel! He rec my haddock brekkie and was perfect. Comfy lounge bar.Booked again for December!!!

Beautiful location, really cute kitchen, spacious bedroom, lovely modern bathroom. Would definitely recommend. Spa isn't on site but only 5 mins drive away. Great pool and sauna.

A very warm welcome into a stunning period building. Ample parking right outside. Very spacious room, with comfortable bed and sofa. The bathroom is also spacious and well equipped with a bath and separate shower. The toiletries were lovely. A good sized mini fridge was a bonus, alongside a good TV. The pre order breakfast option delivered to your room worked great, especially travelling with our dog! Hotel very walkable to local pubs and eateries. Would recommend for a stay in Ambleside.

Le Quaysiders Lakes Resort - Quaysiders Club est situé sur la rive du lac Windermere à Waterhead, à quelques pas du village d'Ambleside. Waterhead compte plusieurs bars, restaurants et cafés. We had side by side rooms to fit our family of 5. The rooms were well equipped with dishes. We also appreciated the extra seating so that we could all hang out in the larger room to watch a movie. The location was great. Easy walk to a Roman Fort, the lakefront, pubs, and also walkable into Ambleside. Our kids loved the hot tub. Staff were friendly.

St John's Lodge is an award-winning guest house situated between Windermere village and the Lake at Bowness Bay. The breakfast was excellent lots of gluten free options. Rich the host was very friendly and knowledgeable about the Lake District . He always had time for you to chat about the best restaurants etc .Very enjoyable stay definitely stay again. Rooms very comfortable clean . The place is situated in a perfect spot right in the middle of Windermere.
