Die Unterkunft Gal Oya Lake Club, die in Paraganakele gelegen ist, bietet Poolblick sowie ein Restaurant, einen Zimmerservice, eine Bar, einen Garten, einen Außenpool und eine Terrasse. Absolutely brilliant! The service from everyone from the time we arrived was exceptional, so friendly and welcoming, and assisted and advised with anything. The facilities are great, nice clean swimming pools, the grounds are very nice and the rooms were great-large, immaculate and good facilities, and great to see the sustainability such as refillable stainless steel drink bottles instead of plastic. The restaurant was very good, and reasonably priced. The activities arranged were good, the lake safari seeing elephants and many birds. And using the kayaks on the lake from the jetty right out front was great (we didn’t try the fishing, but that was another option). And of course just the peace and quiet location to relax in luxury. The children’s favourite was Ronnie, the very friendly dog.

Very nice, place, about 10 minutes walk from the center of Arugam Bay, but they provide free bicycles, so it’s relatively easy to get there. The bungalows are spacious and comfortable, breakfast is filling enough and they provide free yoga sessions every day and also surfing lessons (cost is similar to that in the city).

We felt like home, everything is made for you to feel good, the pool is amazing, bungalows are super comfy, restaurant is really good (even the European food but also the local food not to spicy l, you can ask on demand), owners really helpful, friendly, here for you and the staff is joyful and super friendly to ! Many thanks to the owners, the staff and Joy for their hospitality. If we have the chance to come back, we’ll return for sure

The food is very tasty. They organized an amazing Safari for us with a great guide with profound knowledge. Also it was very fairly priced. Will for sure come back, thank you 🙏🏼☺️

Absolutely loved our stay at Oruwa Boutique Villa! This place is a true hidden gem in Arugam Bay. The vibe is peaceful, stylish, and perfectly intimate—far from the crowded hotels. Oruwa villa was beautiful, clean, and just steps from the beach. Waking up to the sound of the surf was magical. The entire team was incredibly warm and attentive, always ready to help with anything from scooter rentals to dinner recommendations. The pool area is an oasis, and the overall design feels both luxurious and effortlessly cool. It's the ideal spot for surfers and travelers looking for a relaxing, high-quality escape. Can't wait to come back!

The most amazing stay highly recommended!* ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I stayed at *Doppel Gangs* in Arugam Bay and had the most unforgettable experience. The hotel is in the *perfect location* close enough to the main road (just a 1-minute walk!) to access everything easily, but tucked away enough to enjoy peace and quiet without the crowds and noise. The hotel is *by far the cleanest* I’ve stayed at in Sri Lanka, with daily housekeeping that keeps everything fresh. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. There’s also a *really nice pool*, perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. But what truly made this stay exceptional was the *incredible staff*, especially *Hibed*. We were a group of 8 girls and one boy, and from the moment we arrived, Hibed went *above and beyond* to make us feel safe, welcomed, and cared for. His kindness, thoughtfulness, and attentiveness were beyond anything we expected. He was always there to help whether it was organizing *tuk tuk rides* at *any time, to any place, with any notice*, fixing a ripped pair of pants with a local seamstress, or surprising us with freshly made yogurt. Every little thing he did added to the magic of our stay. I’ve stayed at many hotels around the world, but I’ve *never* encountered a staff that had such a genuine impact on my overall experience. *Thank you, Doppel Gangs, for an incredible stay. We’ll never forget it.* Can't wait to come back!

Die Zimmer sind neu, sehr sauber, zweckmäßig und geräumig. Die warme Dusche war wirklich angenehm. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, und der Pool lädt zum Entspannen ein. Die Lage ist gut – alles ist zu Fuß erreichbar, aber dennoch ruhig.

Die Unterkunft Niketh Villa Komari Arugambay, die in Komari, 21 km von Lagoon Safari - Pottuvils entfernt gelegen ist, verfügt über Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einem Außenpool, einem kostenlosen... Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön gelegen, direkt am Meer innerhalb wenigen Schritten ist man an einem wunderschönen und einsamen Strand. Für Surfer ein Traum, da der Surfspot direkt vor der Unterkunft ist. Das Areal ist einzigartig, sehr gross und ruhig und die Unterkunft ist sehr geräumig und wunderschön. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und die Inhaber sind so herzlich, wir hatten super tolle Momente mit ihnen. Obendrauf ist das Essen wirklich unglaublich, es wird sehr gesund gekocht und alles immer frisch zubereitet. Das Sri Lankan Breakfast ist speziell zu erwähnen aber es ist wirklich alles super lecker egal was sie bestellen. Wir werden irgendwann mit Sicherheit zurückkommen :)

Die Unterkunft Blue Lake Ridge, die in Maha Oya, 9,4 km von Maduru-Oya-Nationalpark entfernt gelegen ist, verfügt über Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einem Garten, einem kostenlosen Privatparkplatz,... perfect place to stay and the safari organised by them was quite something, we went to Madura oya national park and saw 50 -60 elephants and we were the only jeep there. hight recoomend anyone to do it. The room was clean and well presented.

We had an excellent stay! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The food was outstanding, and the staff were happy to cook anything we requested — a special thanks to Lahiru the chef and Pravin for their wonderful service. The manager was also very helpful and attentive to all our needs. Highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!
