Absolutely wonderful property. Had no complains, so relaxing and comfortable stay. The property is on the Main Badulla road, but a bit away from town, about 5mins by car, which was okay for us as it helped us wind down by sunset, and the property became quite cozy with no external sounds or bright lights.

We stayed at this lovely hotel during December 2025. That evening we were the only guests in the wonderful boutique hotel. The wonderful and incredibly friendly staff did everything to make us feel comfortable and cozy. With a heated pool and a room with a jacuzzi, a wonderful dinner and a delicious and satisfying breakfast in the hotel garden, facing the mountain view and the horse track, we felt really great! . Highly recommended!

Zwei weitere Highlights des Hotels sind der wunderschöne Infinitypool und die Sauna. Auch das Frühstück war sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Wir haben auf all unseren Reisen noch nie so eine Gastfreundschaft und einen Top Service erlebt wie in diesem Hotel. Die Mitarbeitenden sind extrem zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Ein besonderer Lob geht an Ranga, der einen fantastischen Job macht! Danke vielmals für alles!

Die Unterkunft The Argyle Luxury Boutique hat ein Fitnesscenter, einen Garten und eine Sonnenterrasse mit Pool und als Buffet angebotenes Frühstück in Hatton. Aufgrund der Unwetter waren wir unsicher, ob wir nach Hatton kommen sollen, aber die Anreise ging absolut unproblematisch. Das Hotel ist ein absoluter Traum – das Personal ist sehr freundlich, das Essen sehr lecker und das Spa Treatment war sehr entspannend. Inbesondere Vithu und Srikanth waren sehr zuvorkommend.

We spent two nights at Langdale Boutique Hotel by Amaya and absolutely loved it. The hotel is tucked away in the middle of endless tea fields, and the views are just stunning, it feels like a little world of its own. What made our stay so memorable was the incredible staff. From start to finish, they made us feel so welcome and genuinely cared for, nothing was ever too much trouble. A special thank you to the reception and wait staff, as well as Chef Guiamme, who not only cooked us the most delicious meals but also took the time to share his recipes for Coconut Jam, Dhal, and Onion Sambal. We can’t wait to try them at home and share them with our friends and family. Such a thoughtful gesture that made our stay feel extra personal. We were kindly upgraded for our stay and the room was very comfortable and cozy, and we both slept so well and got the perfect recharge after exploring. We also loved the facilities — the heated pool was perfect after a day of adventuring, the mini golf is a nice touch and the walks around Langdale’s estate were peaceful and beautiful. We also used the laundry service which did a truly excellent job and refreshed our belongings for our onward journey. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Sri Lanka, and we’ll look back on it fondly. If you’re looking for warm hospitality, beautiful surroundings, and truly outstanding service, Langdale is the place to stay.

I liked many things about Nuga Retreat. First of all, the beautiful, natural surroundings with mountain views created a unique atmosphere of peace and relaxation. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, providing convenience, and the outdoor pool was a great place to unwind. I also really appreciated the friendly and helpful staff who truly made an effort to ensure our stay was enjoyable.

Breakfast, tea time snacks, and dinner was delicious and presented beautifully each time. The food was not very expensive either; it was good value for money.
