The hotel, the personnel and all the details that created this amazing week in Maldives. The room was insane, with a huge bathroom, incredible views of the ocean reef and the private swimming pool. The hotel is very clean, excellent service at all times and the staff always with a smile and willing to help. All the restaurants had a vast product assortment, from tropical fruits to western diets for those tourists not willing to innovate. Also very happy they have a veggie option, with interesting light options meals. My recommendation is to book the all inclusive plan and avoiding constantly reviewing prices when in vacations. Something that I would like to point out and not many tourists realize, is that considering is that the hotel is operated in a small private island, The Standard has created an ecosystem of solar panels and electric mini-cars allowing them to operate independently and sustainably compared to other resorts which fully operate with diesel plants inside of the islands. The hotel was also really good initiatives with plastic free, such as removing all plastic bottle, etc. In summary, I can only be grateful for the excellent experience during these days.

Everything. This island is paradise! The rooms are breathtaking and the beds are so comfortable, they are always kept clean and work around you when to clean the rooms. The food was sensational with so many options and cuisines. The buggy service is quick if you need to get about. The beach is paradise. I just cannot wait to go back. My son was tuning 6 and the way they decorated the room was beyond my expectations also. Staff are so helpful and go above and beyond for you.

The whole staff at the resort was nice and caring , from the people working in the buffet restaurant to our villa attendent Alamin who was absolutely great! He provided us everything we needed, including water, towels and toiletry. He even decorated our room with animal towels and nice messages! The beach was splendid! Its powder white sand and the blue water made us fell in love with this place forever! The food buffet was realy good, it had all kind of delicious options from different cuisines. Also, the bar had good cocktails and complementary infused water! The couple massage we had was very relaxing! Our masseuses Nydia and Rada were amazing! We also liked the grounds, not only that they were well kept, but also it looked very tropical and lush. I have to mention the great free snorkeling we did every day at the Dive Center or the other two spots on site! We saw eagle rays, sting rays, manta rays, turtles, all kind of colorful fish and even sharks! We definitely recommend Sun Syiam Olhuveli as one of the best vacation spots we've been to! As my wife said that is truly a piece of paradise!
