This was the highlight of my entire journey through the north – a truly exceptional hotel in every aspect. The room was impeccably clean, tastefully furnished, and had a warmth that contrasted beautifully with the snowy Arctic landscape outside. The name "The View" is no coincidence – the panorama from the windows is breathtaking. Although the restaurant at the hotel was closed in the evening, the staff had an agreement with a restaurant in town offering a 10% discount – a thoughtful and convenient touch. The dinner I had there was nothing short of exquisite: a creamy seafood soup and fresh local catch of the day – truly some of the best food I enjoyed in Norway. Breakfast the next morning? Absolutely the best I had on the whole trip. Fresh, generous, and served in a room flooded with morning light and framed by views of snow-covered mountains. The town of Honningsvåg itself is charming, with its working harbour, fishing boats, and colourful houses set against the stark white hillside. It felt like stepping into a painting.

They even had soy milk. The pool and sauna are nice to close the day. Water kettle in room with coffee and tea. Good bedding.

Our stay at this camping site was truly memorable. The location was stunning, with a mountain on one side and the sea on the other. The views were absolutely breathtaking. The sunset was particularly magical. The entire area had a peaceful, friendly, and spacious atmosphere that felt both relaxing and well-managed. We stayed in both a large and a small cottage. The larger one was modern, spacious, and came with a lovely balcony and terrace for outdoor sitting. The smaller cottage was cozy but perfect for sleeping. Parking was conveniently located right beside the cottages, which made things easy. The common facilities were a standout — the shower and toilet areas were exceptionally clean, private, and easy to use. The common kitchen was modern, beautiful, well-maintained, and more than sufficient for the number of guests using it. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. One of the best parts was the range of activities included in the price — it added so much value to the experience and made it even more enjoyable.
