We have stayed at the One and Only Palm (which was exceptional) and decided to try this new one. They are very different in style and feel. The palm feels like a family home, very personal and comfortable. This one is ultra modern, city vibe with many dining options and nightclub etc but also outstanding. From the moment we arrived we were so impressed by the staff and the amazing property. We had dinner in StreetXO which was great and the breakfast was so good. Not just the usual huge buffet but a combination of A La Carte and buffet which was a very nice touch (no standing waiting for an omelette). We then spent the day at the infinity pool which was perfect (high end beach club feel) Thank you One & Only Za'abeel and staff!

The hotel exceeded my expectations in everything. Every member of staff I spoke with tried to help and made me feel welcome. I stained a favourite fabric shoe, and the housekeeping cleaned it within an hour free of charge. I mentioned to the manager that I might have preferred a different view, and they moved me to another room. Breakfast is nothing short of spectacular, especially with such views from the terrace. Technology in my room was state-of-the-art. Elegant and functional interiors. This is one of the few places I will try to return to. It felt really good to be staying and receiving visitors there.

Stayed at this hotel from 18.09 to 20.09.25 in room 510. I myself used to own hotels and restaurants, so I know the business from the inside. 1. Service — top level. 2. Cleanliness — perfect, the hotel is spotless and constantly being cleaned. 3. Breakfast — varied and tasty. 4. If you book half board, then dinner is served in the main restaurant on Fridays. On other days, dinner is offered in the Iranian or Italian restaurant (à la carte menu). 5. We were offered to upgrade to a Junior Suite with Executive service, and we agreed. It includes: breakfast, Afternoon Tea from 14:00 to 16:00 in the Executive Lounge, from 17:00 to 19:00 you can order one alcoholic drink and get the second one free, or unlimited tea/coffee and snacks (cold and hot appetizers, desserts), also in the Executive Lounge, and, of course, dinner. The Executive Lounge is located in the right wing from the entrance, on the first floor. The package also includes access to the spa area: hammam, jacuzzi, sauna. 6. Make sure to specify whether you want a smoking or non-smoking room. The property has three swimming pools, a gym, a sauna, and a beauty salon. I read some reviews and was surprised. For example, one guest lost a watch worth 30,000 and gave the hotel the lowest score. But how can the hotel be responsible for the careless behavior of a guest who lost their own belongings? Another review said that a guest had half board (which covers dinner for one person), but he brought along someone who didn’t stay at the hotel, and then complained he had to pay for the second person. That is normal policy. 👉 Overall: this hotel is luxurious, highly recommended. Another big plus — there are very few children.

There was some mistake on booking.com hotel profile; I booked family room of 68 sq m, but in reality this room was 38 sq m. After discovering that, I went to sort it out to reception - and they handled it in a very good way, admitted mistake; It took a while, but eventually we were given different room in different hotel that met our expectations / initial booking. (hotel was in the same hotel compound, just 200m away). They also corrected booking.com description immediatelly. This is the true value of good customer service - handling exceptions; And this was a trip for my parents / 70th year birthday of my dad - Patrick, thanks a lot and warm regards to JA staff!

From the moment we arrived everything was prepared to perfection. The cleanliness was 5 star, the staff were exceptional. The Hotel is probably situated a little out from the central buzz of the Marina but that is only a 15mins taxi ride. One of the best places we have ever stayed.

This is one of the best places I stayed in Dubai. The apartment is beautiful, with a comfortable bed, a nice high desk to work from, plenty of room in the cupboards, a great kitchen and bathroom. Host was extremely helpful and communicative, an excellent host. The parking is easy and covered. The pool is beautiful, with very comfortable sun lounges, perfect to relax after a long day at work. I will definitely book this place again.

Great camp with the BEST staff.

Great camp with the BEST staff. They tend to your needs around the clock. My only drawback is the restroom situation. The toilet and shower is in one very small stall. Had to hang change of clothes in different stall to keep the shower from wetting them. Another drawback is COLD showers. No hot water at all even after letting it run for some time. My husband caught a slight cold because the desert gets cool in the evening, and the walk back to the tent from the cold shower did him in. Also on my booking confirmation , it said there would be a bidet in the tent. There was not one, but I think that is best. Not mad about that at all. On a good note, we really enjoyed the dishes we were served with such great variety. The entertainment was nice. We booked for two nights, but one night is more than enough. I would definitely recommend this camp to anyone wanting a different Dubai experience.

Everyone knows about Dubai: Great hotels, lovely restaurants, bars and hospitality. Huge range of shopping, albeit more expensive than the UK. However even in November it was still 31 degrees, and the constant building work, traffic and lack of wind means a permanent haze of pollution over the city. Will the building ever stop? On current signs, no. Unless you like sitting on a beach, 3 days is probably the perfect length of stay.

I go 4 times per year on business. JBR is a great place to stay if you like to walk to restaurants. It's close to the beach and a good place to base yourself for a vacation. Easy to travel for there.
