Exceptional hotel on the beach. Rooms are big, very clean, and the bed is extremely comfortable. We loved opening the big doors in the morning to the sea waves. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here!

The hotel itself is wonderful: new and stylish rooms and facilities, spotlessly clean, very kind and helpful staff, great location almost on the beach (just a small road/walking path separates it from the pebbles), nice breakfast, a convenient and safe parking place close to the entrance, unforgettable view from the rooftop pool... Certainly one of the most wonderful hotels I've ever been! It's located close to the center of Izola - a car is not needed (nor recommended) to visit it. From the back entry, the Dolphin Beach is just a few steps away. It's a rocky shore, but there are several stairs into the water. The inside pool is filled with salty water, which is great. Italy is not far away, you can see Trieste across the sea. In the town, everbody seems to be able to speak Italian. The vew from the balcony is outstanding.

I have been here two times before in the 1960’s! It was a different world. We came because my husband wanted to see it, and it is an amazing city. However, overtourism has bad effects. There are other less crowded walled cities and wonderful islands in Croatia.

The city of Split is vibrant with live, cafes, bars & restaurants. Seat at anyone of them, people watching & watching the world goes by whilst enjoying great foods. Allow at least a couple of days in the city to soak in the vibe, then use it as a base to explore the region!

Zadar was a lovely town, a little in need of some cash investment to help recover after the war but so interesting to walk around, take wonderful speedboat trips out to the islands, fabulous food, a wonderful place to go see. The most standout part of our holiday was the people!!! Everyone is FANTASTIC, the most friendly, helpful and entertaining people even though we visited close to the end of their season and I'm sure the all needed a much needed break we didnt encounter one single person who wasnt warm and friendly. Don't hesitate to visit this beautiful slice of heaven. Oh and the food is exceptional!!!

We hired electric bikes and rode across the city, which has lots of historical sites. The people are friendly and welcoming. The food is also amazing here. There are local homemade foods too. We came in September and it was still warm enough to tan but not so hot you couldn’t enjoy walking or exercising.

Really liked the small old town in Budva.

Really liked the small old town in Budva. It doesn't get too many tourists ( like Kotor) so is less crowded and more tranquil. I didn't like the fact you had to pay to walk along a part of the walled town. There are lots of small food places there (selling pizza, sandwiches, byreks, cakes), which is great and absent in lots of these type of places.

Old Town Kotor is beautiful. It is small and very walkable.

Old Town Kotor is beautiful. It is small and very walkable. My husband and I did not walk up the 1000+ steps to the monastery, but others in our group did and said it was amazing. Kotor Bay is stunning! The waters are so blue and the mountains surrounding this entire are breathtaking. It was the perfect location for a destination wedding! (Our daughter was married in St. Tryphon's Cathedral! It was absolutely fairytale perfect!)

The town was perfect size so walking is easy for everyone. Please note the cobbled streets can be a little slippery so fancy high heeled shoes are a No-No! The local people are kind and friendly and everyone is catered for. Little tip:- book restaurants early to avoid disappointment not obtaining a reservation.

A pleasant place mainly thanks to the people and services in the area. It is more about getting to know and meeting people. There are no nice beaches here, the coast is just a pile of concrete. Entering the sea without shoes in the water is quite unpleasant.

Beautiful city! Be sure to check out Leo the cat! hangs out around the Amphitheatre, you can leave him a Google review! Food Places worth eating at:- Pulacinka (Waffle place) Smoked BBQ Rustica It is easy to use the bus service but depending how far you visit they are not very frequent. We visited Fazana pretty easily though.
