This is the place to stay if you want a real feel for the warmth & charm of Shkodra & its people instead of a cold impersonal hotel. The owners & staff make you feel like part of their family and give wonderful support in every need of your visit. They speak very good English and their breakfast & coffee are excellent and will accommodate any request if possible. We stayed at 3 hotels in Shkoder and this one was our favorite for its peaceful and gracious atmosphere. I recommend it

I had an amazing experience at Tribute Hotel during my recent stay in Shkodër. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming, professional, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, modern yet cozy, with great attention to detail. My room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with a lovely view of the city. The bed was perfect for a good night’s sleep, and the bathroom was clean and well-equipped with everything I needed. Breakfast was a real highlight — fresh, delicious, and served in a charming dining area. I especially appreciated the variety and the quality of local products offered. The location of the hotel is also ideal — just a short walk from the main attractions, restaurants, and shops, yet quiet enough for a peaceful stay. I highly recommend Tribute Hotel to anyone visiting Shkodër. It truly exceeded my expectations and made my trip even more enjoyable!

The hotel Tradita exceeded our expectations. Everything was really meticulously arranged and from the moment you enter the premises you’re welcomed by a lovely perfume and a very kind and professional staff. The room was big, clean and with all the amenities listed in the description and very nicely decorated with traditional materials. We also stayed in for dinner and enjoyed typical and tasty meals, there is even a big fireplace always on to grill the meat and their amazing homemade bread. The breakfast was also very tasty and rich. If you happen to be in the area for the weekend you will also be lucky enough to enjoy the traditional shows they organize in the evening with typical Albanian music.

This is the best shower in all the Balkans! It has strong water pressure, huge standing area, and a glass screen to stop the water wetting the rest of the bathroom. Book here just for that reason! On top of that they have very comfortable beds, friendly staff and a home cooked omelet every morning with coffee. It’s a slight walk down the main road out of town but I never once felt unsafe. Everyone was so friendly and greeted me on the street

Location was STUNNING, and property absolutely exceeded our expectations! Was extremely clean, pretty room, comfortable bed and had all the utilities we needed! The Villa itself had everything you need, very cheap restaurant, paddleboarding, row boats, a wharf, hammocks and day beds! Absolutely loved it.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Argenti. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast included was delicious with lots of tasty choices, and having a parking space right there was such a bonus. I’d definitely stay here again next time!

The staff was kind and helpful. Drinking coctails in the pool was cool, the coffee was amazing and the rooms were big and comfortable. It's really close to the beach and there are golf cars in the hotel to bring you to the beach and back to the hotel.

Five star service.

Five star service. The staff really makes you feel like family and goes above and beyond. The animals all contribute to the farm and are so well taken care of. They’re all a part of the experience. The rooms are impeccably clean and traditional with modern upgrades (best plumbing, great AC, hotel toiletries, great shower etc), clean, crisp white sheets. All of the things you’d expect in a five star hotel, except this feels more like your own home. Gzim and his wife are wonderful and provide help whenever you need advice for local restaurants or a ride nearby. Mrizi is literally 3-4 min max by foot. I preferred staying at Vitoria over Mrizi, and would return again. My son loved it! And Breakfast was wonderful!!

Out of season there is really nothing to do in the city and...

Out of season there is really nothing to do in the city and we cam in the beginning of October. 95% of shops and restaurants are closed and kids have nothing to do int he are of the town. I believe that in the season this place is very lively, but we have not experienced that ourselves.

This time I saw Shkodra with different eyes.

This time I saw Shkodra with different eyes. The city’s diversity of people and cultural mix stood out strongly, and over the weekend the lively atmosphere of parties gave it an energetic spirit. What touched me most, however, were the Catholic churches scattered around the city. Stepping into them gave me a profound sense of spirituality and peace, balancing the vibrant social scene outside. Shkodra truly holds a unique charm – a place where culture, celebration, and spirituality come together beautifully.

It was the first time to be in Velipoje.

It was the first time to be in Velipoje. It's not a big city but I am positively surprised. The Velipoja beach (where we were placed) was clean, the water was so clear and warm. The kids part with the toys at the center of the city was excellent. The food was good tasted, fresh and the staff was very polite.

The hotel is close to the beach, which was great.

The hotel is close to the beach, which was great. The pool was small but clean, and my son really enjoyed it. Breakfast was OK, and there are small shops nearby, along with parking available. I would have rated this 5 stars if it weren't for one issue: the cooking utensils. If you plan to book an apartment, I recommend bringing your own cooking pans, or you’ll be disappointed.
