This is a perfect place for your trip. The location is 3 minutes away from the beaches and 1 minute away from the bus station to go to Sarande or Butrint. The view was amazing from the room balcony. And the people who were working there amazing too. They were so kind, gentle and genuine. The restaurant were great. Also for the breakfast and the dining. There was incredibly delicious food and wine. So you can be stay there if you wanna have an excellent vacation. Faleminderit shume ♥️

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Porta Ksamil. The staff went above and beyond to help organize a small birthday surprise for my friend, which made our trip even more special. The breakfast each morning was fresh and varied, with plenty of delicious options to start the day. The rooms were modern, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We had a wonderful stay from start to finish! The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with a very comfortable bed that made us feel truly relaxed. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile, making us feel right at home. The breakfast was delicious, offering a wide variety of fresh and tasty options every morning. We also really enjoyed the meals at the on-site restaurant, which featured high-quality local ingredients. The location was perfect – peaceful, yet just a short walk from everything we wanted to see.     Ksamil is emerging as a tourist destination & the centre of...

    Ksamil is emerging as a tourist destination & the centre of the town at least seems to have opted to cater for those who prefer loud music / water activities on the beaches. That said, there is a good selection of bars & restaurants both in the centre of the town and on the main road into it. The hotel in which we stayed (Area Hotel) was excellent. Public transport is ok - there is a bus every 30 mins to Sarande or Butrint BUT it is packed & an experience in itself! Fares are 150 Lek (1.5 euro) each way. Taxis are available but cost approx 30 euro each way. Although card payment is accepted in most restaurants / hotels etc, it seems as though cash is king in Albania. Local currency (Lek) can be accessed once you're in the country by changing euro at one of the many exchanges.

    Ksamil is a very beautiful resort with numerous stunning beaches and crystal-clear azure waters. There are plenty of quality restaurants offering delicious food at reasonable prices. The only drawback is that almost all beach spots are paid, meaning you need to pay for sunbeds and umbrellas. The cheapest spots started at around €15 for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella, while more premium locations charged €30 to €40 per set. Luxury cabana-style spots could cost up to €70 per day. Almost everywhere accepted euros, so it was not necessary to exchange money into the local currency. Alternatively, you could pay in euros and receive change in the local currency (Albanian lek). On average, €1 was equivalent to about 95–96 lek.

    The beaches are extremely beautiful and clean.

    The beaches are extremely beautiful and clean. Renting sunbeds/umbrellas can be quite pricy. If you go in the afternoon they would charge you the same price on some beaches. Driving in Ksamil can be quite hectic. The streets are quite narrow and not all the streets have pavements and on streets where they are present either they are taken up by shops or else the people do not use the land walk in the middle of the road. Be careful if you are driving there especially during rush hour and parking is not easy. The restaurants are really good. We tried a lot of them and the food is delicious and most of them have very reasonable prices. We were always treated nicely from the staff.
