Very friendly host, very easygoing. Diner was delicious, and there was an extensive breakfast buffet. The hotel works with a honesty bar with a large choice of drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), which I found very comfortable. Rooms were clean, comfortable bed. Sauna area was also very nice.

Super nice hosts, there were separate bathrooms for each room, great location about 10 minutes from the ski slopes. Supermarket and bakery within walking distance, very clean, beautiful view from the rooms, spacious living room to sit together, well equiped kitchen. Can definitely recommend.

We enjoyed our stay in Virgen very much. The road leading up to house is a bit narrow and steep, which could be a problem in snowy conditions. The owners are very nice and friendly.

We knew the property was fairly remote - towards the end of a beautiful valley. But we hadn't anticipated just how much its location would be such a powerful positive. Beauty amidst stillness. The facilities, kitchen, etc, exceeded our expectations given the price-point. And a balcony, too, to sit, read, and look at the scenery. Although remote, Virgen itself - with free parking - was a quick drive away - cafes, great coffee shop/bakery and a well-stocked supermarket, and there were some great walks from the doorway, plus some amazing ones twenty minutes away in the car. The waterfalls beyond Hochbichl left us breathless in awe. Irene was a great host, welcoming us warmly and coming back almost immediately with any queries we had.

Fantastic views, polite staff and culture of hospitality. Tasty breakfast, spectacular territory around the hotel with beds/seats nearby with the Mountain View. Covered parking was good.
