The hotel was wonderful. The staff were helpful and friendly, the room lovely and clean. Gmund im Karnten is a pretty little town (and very convenient for the A10). We will definitely be staying there in the future.

Sometimes there is a difference between the description and photography of the accommodation and the reality. That's not the case here. The house is secluded on the edge of the forest with a stream. Everything you expect from the mountains is here. A silence disturbed only by the birds and the bells of the goats. You are stung by the sun's rays. The spacious apartment has everything you need. We very much welcomed the solitude and peace and that's why we didn't even go to restaurants and cooked there. And as we were cooking, all we had to do was go out into the hallway and take bacon, cheese, butter, milk, yogurt or eggs out of the fridge and get down to it. And finally, great ice cream. And then we went on a hike along a forest path where we didn't meet anyone. Just us and nature. Our dog really enjoyed it too. We would love to come back again.

Nicole and Ron are very friendly and kind, nothing is a problem. The appartment was nice, clean, spacious, with nice view from the balcony. What I appreciated was hot water in the shower for everyone (that the last one did´t have cold water because of empty boiler :D ). There is a room for skies and boots (heating available). The location is fine, about 20 minutes by car from Katschberg ski resort, 5 minutes walking from Spar shop.

Very home-like atmosphere, warm and helpful staff. Excellent dinner was a big surprise. Warm souo every day after skiing camewas such a lovely and tastfull idea. Sauna large enough, small fitness psoace...and all that in old fown town with river infront of the balcony! Just lovely place to stay!

This was a fantastic little hotel with super friendly drivers who did everything to make our stay a good one. The breakfast was perfect. The hotel was located in a beautiful valley with very nice surroundings. The room was large and lovely with good beds.

Gmund in Kärnten is so cosy!

Gmund in Kärnten is so cosy! Beautiful houses n buildings, lovely gardens, a very personal place. This little town is in my heart, I'm in love with the architecture, the little restaurants, the funny n lovely art you can find everywhere.

Convenient location to reach the region´s highlights.

Convenient location to reach the region´s highlights. Very nice tour in the Nockberge mountains. Nice walk around Weissensee from Techendorf direction west and back. There is a possibility to rent a boat or take a roundtrip on a ship. When being in a mood of getting really high, then take the Ankogel cable way from Mallnitz and walk around there (warm clothes and solid shoes strongly recommended). Or a skywalk in Malta (Kölbrein) or an observation tower Pyramidenkögel in Keutschach. You definitely get a lot more information about points of interests from the tourist prospects in every accomodation facility. The city of Gmünd hass just the same traditional (atmosphere as many other Austrian towns, nothing special in or view. It is pretty small but cosy, you can walk it through in half a day maximum. What we found practical was the opening hours of Billa supermarket even on Sundays, which is not usual.
