Das Mondsee is located within a short walking distance from the downtown shops and restaurants of Mondsee. There’s a very beautiful patio outside where you can relax. A river runs by which provides for a soothing sound. Rooms were impeccable maintained. Very clean. High quality furnishings. Beautiful bathroom. Comfortable bedding. Good WiFi reception. Easy check in albeit not in person. Online checkin prior to arrival is required. There is no lobby but customer service replies reasonably quick through WhatsApp. There is a community room where you can work or prepare something small. Well outfitted with dishes, glasses and cutlery. If you arrive late, there is a vending machine that stocks the basics as well. If I would return to Mondsee I would stay here again. Recommended.

This hotel is amazing! Perfection in every detail! Everything from the design and furniture to the bed linen, the softest pillows and the spa-shower in the room exceeds expectations! Breakfast was great! The hotel restaurant is Michelin rated and there is also a very nice bar. The hotel staff are very friendly and courteous. We have the most pleasant impressions and a desire to return to this place!

There is literally nothing to dislike. Fabulously managed. Super-welcoming people. Warm atmosphere. Everything 100% functional. Excellent food and breakfast. Large private parking. Hotel located close to highway in a very quiet area absolutely worth discovering. Bottom line, probably the best “value for money” ever encountered. Congratulations to the Team! This is a really good hotel, excellent in every way but I will especially mention the facilities for those travelling by bicycle - it has a dedicated, locked storage room for bikes with power sockets for charging e-bikes.

Schlosshotel Mondsee is located in the center of Mondsee, next to the Basilica of Saint Michael, and only a 5-minute walk from the shore of Lake Mondsee.

A nice renovated hotel (a part is still being renovated) close to beautiful nature. We had a view of the forest and the mountains, absolute beauty in the morning at breakfast time! The breakfasts were varied and very tasty, the selection was large and everything was of good quality and fresh. All the staff were always very kind and helpful. There is a free parking lot in front of the hotel and there were always plenty of places. There is also a bar and a restaurant in the hotel, both look nice, but we didn't try them out because we were only going back to the hotel to sleep. The equipment in the room is classic, the beds are comfortable. It was quiet for sleeping, nothing disturbed us. I highly recommend this hotel to those who are going to discover the breathtaking nature as it´s a short distance from all the local lakes.
