THis facility is EXCELLENT!!! What a dream of a place to relax and vacation. Mother Nature provided rain for many days but we were comfortable, well taken are of and enjoyed the clean indoor pool and sauna. Gorgeous grounds, fantastic breakfast and afternoon "Kaffee und Kuchen" with delights backed by Margareta (the owner) herself. This is a family operated hotel and restaurant and we were truly spoiled. They all went above and beyond helping us (when our rental car would not start), catered to our needs for our 93 year old mother and were always kind, friendly and accommodating. The restaurant on the property called the Mostschenke im Heustadl and provides a five star Austrian experience in dining. The family has been on this property since the 1600's and have up-dated and built the hotel in the last ten - twelve years. The Mostschenke is the renovated cattle barn and it a delightful venue for dining. The Hotel is clean, bright and the two bedroom chalet suite is a dream for a family vacation. We had an amazing stay at Post am See Traunkirchen! The hotel is stylish, elegant, and beautifully designed, with great attention to detail. Everything feels carefully thought out and of high quality. Our room had a stunning view of the lake, which made our mornings unforgettable. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of fresh and tasty options. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and welcoming, and we truly felt cared for. We enjoyed every moment of our stay and would definitely love to come back!

Very nice and cozy family run accomodation. Everything that needed was provided. There is an optional breakfast- very good 👍 there is a terrace available for all guests with an amazing view! Safe parking is available for free. Would be very happy to come back.

The place is Heaven on earth, above expectation,,, Staff are helpful and well welcoming and care. Breakfast was excellent. Rating is 10+.
