This park is so fantastic for kids and families especially. It's closed in/self-contained, so kids just ride around on their bikes through all the flat roads. There's a great park, the beach on one side, the lake on the other. We stayed in the lake view cabins which have their own bathrooms and kitchenettes (also air conditioning), but there's plenty of room for camping, beautifully kept toilet and shower blocks (20c for 3 min of hot water), BBQ areas, little mini mart. There's just so much there. A perfect way to unwind.

One of the best places on our road trip!!
Perfect locations, environment- beach really close.
I would have loved to stay there for another few nights! The place was perfect - clean, everything for cooking ans parking right next to the door!
And at the reception- lady gave us vouchers - if you buy coffee- you get a doughnut 😉 small stuff- but still nice!

Batemans Bay has no Visitor Information Centre.
Batemans Bay has no Visitor Information Centre. The shoreline is amazing and the sunrises are glorious. Everything is in easy reach and easily reachable within walking distance. I find the 3pm close down a small issue. Its a great place to fish and swim and very close to Sydney and Eden.
The Ocean Grill Fish and Chip shop on the waterfront was great the fish fresh and beautifully cooked, the chips very moreish.
Lots of inexpensive and more expensive places to eat.
You definitely have to leave time for Mogo Zoo.

Narooma is my home town so I'm biased, but it is beautiful, our entire family love to go to Narooma. The town is clean, the people are beautiful, the beaches are beautiful. Great place to visit, stay and eat

Moruya and Broulee are beautiful.
Moruya and Broulee are beautiful. Quiet and all shops one needs.
Close to major area (Batemans Bay) but far enough to feel relaxed.
Bike riding, fishing and boating great for families.
Seabird apartments just need a bit more thought into travellers needs and it could be one of Moruya's best.

3 beaches, great local shops and many clubs/eatery options all within the heart of Malua bay. Easy to venture down the road to Mogo, Surfbeach or Batemans Bay to shop, dine or enjoy walking trails. Great place for peak and/or off peak seasonal stays.

Mouldy bathroom, unable to lock my cabin door from the inside. Unable to close the main bedroom door, ,,,, absolutely disgusting maintenance.
I loved this place.
First time visiting the cabins
and have photos of the bad maintenance and embarrassed to have brought my family.

Great little town, not too crowded, with just the right amount of facilities. Eg beaches close by, IGA, takeaway shop, small golf course, Petrol station, seafood shop, and the best of all the Tomakin sports club. Great club with great food and good area for kids to play.

As was only there for a family funeral it was only an overnight stay didn’t really get the feel of what a longer stay would have been like but I would stay there again. It is a beautiful small beachside place but not sure of what amenities are available for eg. a weeks stay. Takeaway ordered online from Smokey Dan’s was nice only thing they have no delivery but pick up drive only 7 minutes.

It’s a nice location. Short drive to Mogo to visit the zoo. We spent everyday walking along the beach, despite the rainy weather. We enjoyed some fish and chips at Berry’s and had a lovely breakfast at Crumb. Catalina golf club was amazing. We had a delicious dinner and their kids club was fantastic.
It’s kind of boring outside of these activities but if you’re looking for a nice relaxing weekend it’s a good choice. I wouldn’t stay longer than 4 days though.

Although on a busy road, there wasn't much noise at night. A very relaxing stay and if the weather had been warmer a safe place to swim across the road.
Unit was comfortable with plenty of chairs. Having breakfast on the balcony overlooking the ocean was delightful.
A visit to the visitors centre is worthwhile to see local attractions. There were no local cafes to walk to but a short drive away.
