Booked an hour before we arrived, an absolute ‘spur of the moment’ choice but what a choice; genuinely fabulous, there is nothing to improve the suite, the view, the wine, the staff; absolutely fantastic. I’d move in and happily stay :-)

We stayed at the hotel to celebrate my birthday, and the experience was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, friendly, and very attentive, making our stay feel truly special. We want to give a special mention to Tina, the lovely lady from the ML Bar at breakfast, who was by far the best — incredibly kind, attentive, and always smiling. She really made our mornings brighter and took such great care of us, which made a huge difference. The hotel facilities are spotless and well maintained, the breakfast is delicious and varied, and the location is perfect. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

such a beautiful room, it instantly gave “holiday mode” vibes and the bed was by far the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in! We had a slight issue with our tv and Adrian went out of his way to make sure we had a chrome cast so that we could continue to cost in for the night. Amazing service and property. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Our stay in Rye was wonderful. Home is beautiful & extremely comfortable. Great location to visit wineries, Mornington & Sorrento. Walking distance to the beach. This was our second time staying at Capel Sound, it was a fantastic short break away.

Even with the main beach under renovation, Rosebud was a delight! I enjoyed a peaceful stroll by the camping grounds and had a fantastic pasta marinara at Unica Cucina E Caffe—so fresh and tasty. With limited options on Tuesday, classic Fish N Chips from Capel Sound hit the spot. Shops like Woolies and Dan Murphy’s were super handy, and Peninsula Beach Motel was the perfect base for exploring The Alba Thermal Springs, parks, and local wineries.

I think 5 people would struggle to enjoy the lovely space with luggage and potentially golf clubs etc as the only place to put everything would be in the lounge with the sofa bed. Cupboards and drawers seem to be full of linen so not able to use those effectively. The unit was close to the mineral springs and we enjoyed visiting Flinders, Cape Schanck and Pt Leo estate sculpture park.

The Keith Motel is a newly renovated little gem located in the heart of Rye, with direct access to the beach across the road. The bed was comfy, the room was super clean and the service was brilliant. Stayed on a warm day and the room temperature was just right. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. My only bit of feedback is the rooms could use some sound proofing from outside noise, you coule hear the cars on the road like the windows were open.

Perfect location.

Perfect location. The beach across the road is knee deep for hundreds of metres. Our 3 year old daughter had the time of her life. Carnival 5 minutes down the road in one direction and mini golf 5 minutes the other! Great food options right out your door. Just the perfect family getaway location.
