Birds sing in the background and we met kangaroo in the morning. We took a lot of pictures of the starry sky on the big lawn. We enjoyed the staying and I wish we had more time to stay there.

I don’t know where to begin with this place! It really is something very unique and special! The cottages are set in a lovely secluded bush setting above Lorne. My mom and I stayed in the 2 bedroom horizons cottages. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the cottage was fully equipped. The hosts were only a phone call away for any questions.
The absolute highlight for me was all the lovely, friendly Cockatoos and Rosellas who came to visit our deck. The hosts even provide a tub of food for them! Interacting with these beautiful birds was a big highlight of our holiday!

Really great spot! Close to the main street, but quiet. Almost great view: you'll see the ocean and the beach, but also neighbouring's hotel backyard ;) A lot of Cockatoos - one was even sitting on our balcony.
Room really cosy, clean, elegant. Fully equipped kitchenette: fridge, stove, toaster, coffee machine, microwave, kitchenware and even mil and cocoa powder for your coffee :)

The wifi was really fast and good. Very quiet surroundings which makes it ideal for rest and recuperation after a day of activities. Plenty of light in the house because of the glass windows making it homely.

Lorne is an amazing place as well as this apartments. The staff (Heath) presented us a bottle of champagne and chocolate, because we just arrived in australia. Everything was clean, nice jacuzzi.

A friendly town with excellent restaurants and shops. The beach is so long you can always find an ideal spot. As UK visitors we appreciated the general feeling of space and the abundance of free parking. The town has a clean, fresh, new feel to it.

Lorne is a beautiful location, cabin was comfortable, clean & with good facilities. Location of cabin was not acceptable being metres from a receivable & loading dock which operates daily & very early in the morning.

Overall, we had a great stay.
Overall, we had a great stay. The house was big, very spacious, and comfortable, with plenty of room for everyone to relax. The only minor issue was that the kitchen sink benchtop was a little high for shorter people, but aside from that, everything was excellent and we really enjoyed our time here.

Very untidy around our cabin which was very run down and could have been cleaner. All cupboard doors falling off. Do we get a run down cabin because we travel with a dog? Also such a pity other people let there dogs roam off lead .

I liked the size of the room and the bed was comfie. Very clean. Had to go to the bar to get crockery? Did they want guests to eat in?
Fittings in the newly renovated bath fell apart. Perhaps some hooks instead of double towel rail would be tougher.

We had such a wonderful stay at Bellshala.
We had such a wonderful stay at Bellshala. The peaceful surroundings gave us the perfect opportunity to truly relax, unwind, and enjoy some quiet time. We loved being able to sit back with a good book and watch the local wildlife — it was exactly the escape we needed. There was an excellent cafe in Jan Juc (Swell Cafe) and we bought produce from Peaches in Torquay - didn't want to drive out on the highway to go out for dinner.

Over the past 50 years we have been travelling to Torquay. It has changed so much, but it is a great town to visit and stay in.
Travelling around Torquay is is easy. Plenty of choices for meals and general shopping.

The toy shop lady was amazing like the bookshop lady. I didn’t get their names. Lots of nature, quiet family-oriented location, plenty to see and explore. Love the pockets of stores here and there. Plenty of Op shops which we loved exploring and scoring some little treasures
