I stayed with my family with two kids. Staff was very helpful and explained everything about the hotel, and facilities. A table was already reserved for our family for the breakfast which was a very nice start for the day. Breakfast was also really great. Kids like the family room a lot.

Windy and Tomas were wonderfully helpful hosts and simply lovely people to know. They’ve masterfully renovated the house now called Shamon, and created an inviting and quiet place. Shamon was well-situated to quickly get into and out of town for daily excursions.

Hotel Orchidee is located in the center of Aalter. They provide modern rooms with a buffet breakfast and free WiFi throughout the building.

Location to town square was very good, since there were a few restaurants close by. The staff were very friendly, helpful with information and assistance with our travel questions. Rooms were very clean, breakfast had a large variety of choices. And the fact that breakfast is included in the rate, was very much appreciated. Nice pub or lounge is part of hotel. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
