- From US$139.25 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very good - What previous guests thought, 5,859 reviewsAbsolutely! We had booked a stay with a different hotel 9 minutes away by car but our son’s basketball team all stayed here. So I booked our last night here so we could check out the ocean view and be closer to restaurants and the beach to have the convenience of just walking up for the night vs driving back to the other hotel further out. We all agreed this was the better view, and room. We didn’t stay for breakfast bc we had a game though.Guest review byKaraUnited States

Despite the fact the hotel is large and overbooked the breakfacst was perfectly organised with a large staff cleaning the tables as soon as they have been making free . There was a very large choise of everything and it is one of the best breakfast we got in a 4 stars hotel we staid for a while .Guest review byPhilippeFrance

Brussels is a city best explored on foot, where cobblestone...
Brussels is a city best explored on foot, where cobblestone lanes link centuries of history with modern Belgian creativity. The heart of the city, the Grand Place, dazzles with its UNESCO-listed 17th-century guildhalls and vibrant energy both day and night. A few minutes away, neighborhoods like Marolles and Sablon invite wandering through antique shops, flea markets, and art galleries framed by Gothic and Art Nouveau façades.Beer lovers find plenty to celebrate: from iconic spots like Delirium Café, home to thousands of brews, to smaller local projects which experiment with lambic and gueuze styles . Whether you’re sipping in a trendy bar or strolling past comic murals along quiet side streets, Brussels offers an experience that’s as eclectic as it is effortlessly charming.Guest review byElisaUnited States - 10
The Cathedral is amazing. The brewery is well worth a trip.
The Cathedral is amazing. The brewery is well worth a trip. The 'View' big wheel in front of the station is something a bit different to do. The MAS is great. Don't forget to see the station itself. A work of art in it's own right. Plenty of lovely restaurants and lovely Belgian beer. Don't forget the chocolate shops! Easy to catch trams and you just tap your credit card on the white reader on the tram. No need to search out tickets before hand. Quite a walkable city as well.Guest review byMarkaz97United Kingdom - 10

The olde world nature of the town and its ambience is first class. It is a must do visit for anyone's travelling bucket list. We particularly enjoyed the Historium experience located right on the Marketplace.Guest review byBrianAustralia - 10
Ghent was worth more than a day trip.
Ghent was worth more than a day trip. I'm glad I stayed overnight to see it in the evening, via a free walking tour organized by Legends, and then a day tour, or wandered through the markets and cafes.Guest review byEllenGermany - 6.0
Beach was clean and there was plenty of space.
Beach was clean and there was plenty of space. It would have been better to stay nearer the town centre as our apartment was to far to walk. There is also a dog beach which was a bonus. Resturants and cafes were expensive.Guest review byAnonymous - 10

We arrived on a Sunday and the taxi dropped us out of town as traffic is restricted on a Sunday jeez indded! It took 30 minutes to trundle our suitcases to the hotel. So, after that initial mishap and feeling like we were in the Truman Show, we thawed and thoroughly enjoyed our 3 days in the city. Lovely people, restaurants and bars. Special shout to De Hoorn restaurant and Malz bar.Guest review byGo.mallUnited Kingdom - 2.0

Our stay was disappointing due to poor cleanliness, inadequate amenities, and understaffing, with malfunctioning air conditioning and privacy breaches. Its inconvenient location led to frequent transportation issues, and unhelpful staff showed little concern despite complaints. Overall, the experience was far from comfortable or restful, and we do not recommend this hotel.Guest review byequbazgiSwitzerland - 8.0

Zaventem is close to the airport - our main reason for choosing this town. It is an easy journey by train into Brussels central which I would recommend because traffic and parking is difficult. We had a 50% weekend pass so the return trip for both of us was Euros 10.Guest review byViviennePortugal - 10
Good choice of restaurants with some posh chocolate shops...
Good choice of restaurants with some posh chocolate shops and good beers. Quite a good range of chain stores and niche smaller shops. Really like its compactness and easy train ride from Brussels. Visit Hasselt tourist centre is about 50m from our hotel Het Menneke. Hasselt Greeters offer free personal introduction to Hasselt. The Japanese Garden, the largest in Europe, is well worth a visit. Best restaurant we found was de Orangerie, sited in a long atrium. Nice menu includes Flemish favourites. Attentive staff. Best bar is Koks&Tales, a slick cocktail bar.Guest review byAdrianUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Surprisingly good !
Surprisingly good ! Been to various places in Belgium numerous times, but this was the first time in Mechelen. Found plenty of places to eat and drink within 8-10 minutes or so walk from the hotel. Also some decent shops in the town centre.Guest review byGaryUnited Kingdom
