I really liked the vibe here before anything else. I’m happy with the price for what you get. I pass by this area all the time and this is my first time staying here. The staff is friendly and speaks English. The restaurant is nice and clean.

Clean and comfy hotel, with lovely staff. Parking is a big bonus, right in front of the hotel (reception will raise the bar to let you into the hotel parking as there is also free public parking next to it). Comfortable for one nights stay. Wifi was very good.

Loved my stay here. A very friendly welcome from wonderful, helpful staff. This is a new hotel in a great central location, it is fitted to a very high standard. There is no food at present, but has a great bar on the top floor.

Grand Hotel Riga is a pearl of Eastern European socialistic modernizm. If you love vintage design, it will be a pleasure for you to see the original architekture decorations, as well as the first floor breakfast area. The elevators with the floor counting marker above the door gives a nostalgic thrill :) The hotel is located on Dunav's bank, and has a wonderful river view from the upper floors (there are balconies at the end of every corridor, so even if you stay on a lower floor, you can go with an elevator to the upper floors and enjoy :)). Unfortunately, the original interior of the rooms is gone, but they are still spacious and comfortable, so you can imagine how could it feel to stay there in the comunist era. The breakfast was abundant and wi-fi is very strong. We were staying there on Saturday's night and there was a prom on the ground floor, but it was not heard on the 6th floor. The parking is very spacious.

Awesome location, extremely friendly and helpful staff. Loved the idea of themed rooms, I stayed in the Indonesia room which was beautiful. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Definitely will stay here next time!

The customer service at the Dunav is exceptional! All the staff are extremely helpful ........everyone on reception and the porter. We want to say a huge thank in particular to the manager who helped us so much. He always took the time to answer questions and meet our needs even though he was so busy. Thank you! We would recommend the new year's eve party to everyone - it was a brilliant evening with delicious food and wonderful entertainment,

Great motel and lovely welcome. They parked our bikes securely in their garage which is locked from 5pm, and opened it for us early, at 6.30am, which we appreciated.. Room 106 (singles) was surprisingly spacious, clean, good hot water, and the aircon and WiFi worked perfectly. Quiet, slept well. Recommended if you're coming through.

The room we were given was an en-suite for me , ny partner and our 2 babies. Cot was made available. Room was cleaned very big and had bed sheets white and ironed. I will really recommend this place. Food was also very good and staff very kind and helpful

One of my favourite cities to live and to visit amazing...

One of my favourite cities to live and to visit amazing atmosphere and architecture. It is such a Jewell located on Danube river it’s a vibrant city with everything for everyone . Many good restaurants and bars, lovely alleys, tourist tours with small train, warm friendly people.

Reception-Good Room-Adequate Restaurant-Not up to standard 1. Basic table layout - uninvitingly shabby 2. Waiter service - unprofessional 3. Food not of a hotel/restuarant standard 4. Service - atrocious 5. No manager to assist with our complaints Breakfast- OK but would never have thought we had to queue outside in the cold for a cup of morning coffee. Hope the lovely canadian lady who we met on an earlier visit can read this to confront these failures, otherwise all her and husband's endeavour will eventually disintegrate.

A Bulgarian city you should visit.

A Bulgarian city you should visit. The influence of Vienna can be seen in the architecture of old buildings. The city history is long and can be seen in museums and by monuments. Excellent atmosphere in central streets. Nice gardens and places to drink coffee, etc.

Ruse is a little gem.

Ruse is a little gem. Have a car so that you can also go to the fortress at Cherven; and to the 2 Rock Monastaries. Wear sturdy shoes. In the evening have stroll to the Park, it's so family friendly for all ages.
