We had a great stay at Germain's as a base to explore Ganvié. Christopher kept in touch with me before hand suggesting an itinerary to make the most of my stay. The options and pricing were really clear as well as the times. He made the transfers to and from Ganvié really easy. The staff were lovely. The food was great. It was a nice location outside the centre of town. Other hotels seemed more in the town where it was noisy. It's a unique experience and Germain's is the best place to do that.

It was so clean, so comfortable!!! I wanted to take the bed home with me!!! 🙈 the staff so friendly and so helpful!! Was a trip I would never forget !!! Unfortunately dint realize all the amenities that the hotel had (like the casino, the cinema) it was on the last day I found out and dint get to enjoy those but such an amazing hotel!!! Home away from home

I had an incredible stay at this hotel! The owner is exceptionally helpful, speaks multiple languages, and goes above and beyond to assist with every detail of your stay.
One of the highlights was definitely the food, cooked by the owner himself. Every meal was delicious, and it’s especially convenient since there are very few restaurants in the area.
Another fantastic feature is the driver service. If you’re planning to explore, having a driver is essential as taxis are hard to come by, and this service made everything so much easier.
Lastly, the location is unbeatable. Situated directly on the beach, you can enjoy the sound of the waves and breathtaking views right from the terrace.
Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and seamless getaway!

Nature as it is. Almost no impact of the environment. It is possible to enjoy the wildlife of the place, just as it is. Lizards, crabs, and water vegetation are the main vieuw, plus lots of coco palms, mango trees, and other cultivated ones. The nights are silent and in the morning it is possible to awaken with the sounds of some birds in the lake. You sit for eating or relaxing in little huts surrounded by the lake.
