Liked the small scale of the hotel with only 4 floors and having all the amenities of a larger hotel. The thoughtful placement of the electronic controls for the window shades and room lights made it very convenient to use from anywhere in the room. Always love a trip to Toronto from Kingston , lots to see and do , ie : went to the Royal winter fair , used the street cars to get around easily , enjoyed the restaurants , had a gift card for the spaghetti factory . Most places easy to walk out street cars.

Niagara Falls is ideal for a two-three day getaway. It is small, charming, has great hotels, friendly people and of course the piece de resistance are the Niagara Falls themselves - breathtaking in all seasons, by day and by night when they are lit up in red, blue, green and orange hues with fireworks exploding overhead. Clifton Hill is also a small entertaining hub after you're done exploring the falls. Take the lift to the observatory deck at the top of Skylon Tower for incredible views of the falls like you've never seen before. And don't miss a visit to Niagara-on-the-Lake which is just half an hour's drive away and a wine lover's paradise!

Ottawa has a lot of great things to see , many fantastic museums. I was there for 5 days and wish I had stayed longer to have time to see mor.e Definitely go on a river cruise. I particularly enjoyed the Canadian Museum of History across the river in French speaking Gatineau, Quebec and the fantastic Canadian War Museum.

Mississauga is a suburban part near Toronto. Is has quiet neighborhoods and plenty of options to buy groceries or shop. The roads around Mississauge can be quite busy during the morning and late evening rush hours, plan your trip before you go to Toronto or in the direction of Hamilton. It is well placed as a base for trips to Toronto or Niagara Falls. Also the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Hamilton is very nice museum with enthusiasts actively restoring aircraft you can talk to. There are also plenty of conservation areas around Mississauge and Hamilton!

The University of Queens has a beautiful sprawling campus very close to Lake Ontario. There was a vibrant downtown due to the student body and tourists. The restaurants were plentiful if not a bit expensive.

The city looked so much cleaner than American cities. The traffic was controlled, the air was fresh, and the streets and sidewalks were clean and lighted. The urban blight so common in American cities was not visible, and the police presence was subtle but obvious.

Windsor wasn't exactly a cultural experience, although it did seem to have a diverse population, which was nice to see. We didn't find any hip shopping districts or cool "strips." The view of the river and the Detroit skyline was very cool, and many people were utilizing the riverwalk in the evening after dark. There were plenty of identifiable security personnel who made even the less-lit areas of the park feel relatively safe.

We've visited 5 times over the past 10 years and we never tire of the experience. This visit was extra special as my wife and I were joined by our two children and their significant others. I was nice to finally expose our kids to the Niagara region after all these years. The winery region is a great change up to our Ottawa city lifestyle. We highly recommend a getaway to the Niagara-on-the-Lake region at any time during the year. I has provided many great memories and is a great opportunity to reset life ... stress drop-off!

We just passing by there, and stayed one night at Rodeway Inn, with an extremely awful experience. Because the Rodeway Inn is heavy infested by cockroaches, TONS of them running around the eating table, the bathroom floor and even on the beds. We are road-trip travelers, a good night sleep is very important for next full day driving. We paid full price for this one nightmare stay. Never mind unfair, it’s evil to run business like this. This VERY bad experience, ruined the entire atmosphere at Sudbury.

It's not far from the Walmart (went there a lot) but a real patient long ride to downtown Toronto especially during rush hour. Wonderland was not too far for the kids. Bowling alley and Movie cinema were close. Cooked food every day so don't know what the local cuisine was like. Really felt safe driving and walking around the neighborhoods and Markham.
