Stephan and Therese we exceptional hosts and very accommodating. The room was clean and very comfortable which included a mini fridge and a coffee maker with pods supplied as well. Don't get me started on the breakfast, it was AMAZING!!! We had crepes and French toast and on another day we tried the omelette. And be sure to inquire about the homemade jams. We bought 2 jars.

We arrived early and they upgraded our room. The balcony was a nice refuge from the rain. The hotel is upgrading the backyard for more hot tubs and places to just enjoy the outdoors. The beach was flooded but the lake access is underrated. It is stunning. And the local kayak rental is located on the beach. We could've rented kayaks and paddled into the Quilliam-Durrell Reserve behind the hotel. A place to spot all sorts of birds and wildlike. I'd return in the autumn.

Great place for the value, close to ski bromont +- 3 min drive.
Rooms were spacious and clean, staff was friendly, jacuzzi was well maintained. Restaurants and supermarkets, gas stations close by.
Alain the owner was simply amazing, professional, helpful and delightful. We are grateful for all his effort and communication to ensure our stay went well. Alain was quick to share his passion, history and knowledge of the area. His house is a lovely authentic Victorian home. The house is charming, comfortable and just a little bit age-appropriate quirky. The house feels like a true home. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked, with more utensils, items, and equipment than you would expect (including staples, a second fridge, high chair and even a raclette machine). The two tables in the dining room pulled together meant our entire group of four generations, could eat together. The hot tub was the best way to end a day of skiing. The town of Waterloo is perfectly situated to ski any of the areas in the Eastern Townships, and I suspect equally well located for summer adventures.

Booking.com did not inform me of the extra cleaning fee are stay was to arrive to sleep @ aprox, 9pm, and to leave the next morning before 8am, never would I have considered to pay.that amount had I been informed when I booked.

Pics on Booking looked ok, when I got there the place was a dump,, old cars and parts around building,old atv behind building, worn rugs with cigarette buts strewn around,no work space , room was a bit wider than bed.In Booking said had lake view,, more like swamp view,, long un cut grass throughout property,. I was so blown away that I asked if I could Cancel, lady said sure no problem but still has not credited my M/C.
Booking should dump this property from there site as it is NOTHING like what is described or pictured on site !!
