Such a beautiful location! Right above a restaurant that is super delicious and on the water. We watched the sunset over the lake from our balcony.
We were attending a wedding in Brienz and needed a suit ironed. The staff were super nice and ironed the suit free of charge. They really went above and beyond, 10/10 would recommend.

The location of Hotel Brienz was perfect. The scenery was amazing and it was easy to get around in the town and on the lake from the hotel. There was also parking available, which was very easy.

Excellent location, beautiful view. Easy to pick up keys in a box. Well equipped kitchen, salt, pepper, oil and more. Welcome pasta to cook and coffee. Underfloor heating. Cowbells every morning instead of an alarm clock.

It is too far from Interlaken not having a view of the lake...
It is too far from Interlaken not having a view of the lake as pictures shown, it is located on the top of the mountain, it takes about 20 mn drive on an extremely narrow road to reach there.
Not a single supermarket or restaurant nearby, it is recommended for people seeking tranquility and peace, not for those who plan to visit other places every day.
a washing machine would be an advantage.
I liked that it has Fondue maker and all what's needed to prepare some homemade meals.

Very nice location, great view of the lake and excellent walks.
Be careful of the local drivers. In the 3 days we stayed at Axalp we were bullied by 4 very aggressive drivers on the mountain roads.
