Beautiful hotel right on the Marktplatz. The staff were so kind and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast is very good but there are also many other places close by as well as the market most mornings. We loved it and would return any time.

Great location, friendly staff, awesome breakfast. I also loved that the hotel gave us a card that we could use for free local transport. The breakfast was wonderful with many options - eggs, various meats and local cheeses, salad ingredients with their homemade dressing, local baked goods and a waffle station. We really enjoyed our stay! There’s even a sauna you can reserve.

We had a great time at Gasthaus zum Bauernhof where the old-time charm is mixed with modern functionality. Spacious and clean rooms, comfy decoration, easy parking, big terrace - anything that you might want to enjoy at the hotel. The restaurant deserves a special attention - it’s definitely worth going there. We went for the full menu and were absolutely not disappointed. The home-made bread was a great addition to our dinner, not to mention a good wine list. We would definitely come back!

I loved absolutely everything there! The location, the view from my room, comfort, restaurant, cuisine, the owners are so friendly and attentive (they where available not only at dinner but at the breakfast too, that I loved so much). This hotel offers ultimate luxury from start to finish. The style is traditional, everything is impeccably maintained, and the entire place is spotless. The staff were exceptional, always greeting us with a smile and being incredibly helpful and accommodating. The food was delicious, the cocktails were perfect, and the breakfast, cakes, and other treats were outstanding. Our room was extremely comfortable and very quiet. Every piece of furniture and every detail had clearly been thoughtfully considered and was in perfect condition. They provided robes, slippers, shoehorns, an umbrella, and more. The welcome treats included fresh fruit, chocolates, and a little Eurovision-themed cake. In the evenings, they tidied the room for turndown service, closed the curtains, and neatly arranged our belongings. The corridors were carpeted with a thick central runner, which meant we never heard anyone passing by, even though the hotel was fully booked. We were also given a jar of hotel jam to take away with us and we can't wait to try it. If you’re considering this hotel and can afford the price tag, you will not be disappointed. Book it.

Excellent location outside main train station. 10 min walk from centre and Christmas Markets. Also if you are coming from Airport the tra sport is free with a hotel reservation. The hotel also gives you free transport passes to hop on and off the trams which are also outside the hotel.

Basel was a nice surprise.

Basel was a nice surprise. A lot of old world charm, great traditional bakeries and coffee houses. The transportation is super with trams and buses running frequently. It felt large enough without being touristy. The fine arts museum is top notch h with some great artists represented.

My stay at IIP Apartments was absolutely fantastic.

My stay at IIP Apartments was absolutely fantastic. We actually extended our stay. The location couldn't have been more convenient, with stores and the tram station just a stone's throw away. This made exploring the city incredibly easy. The management team was outstanding; they were always available to answer any questions and offered great suggestions on local attractions and dining spots. Their hospitality truly made me feel welcome and well taken care of throughout my stay. The apartment itself was modern and spacious, exactly as described. I stayed in a king studio, which was beautifully furnished and provided all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep every night. Overall, IIP Apartments exceeded my expectations in every way. Whether you're visiting for business or pleasure, I highly recommend IIP Apartments for its excellent location, superb management, and comfortable accommodations. I look forward to returning on my next visit to the area.

I loved the trains r so handy to hotel and it was only two stops from Pratteln to Basel main train station there was lots of food places in Basel train station and lots of coffee shops outside the train station also a Starbucks outside train station up on the left we went to Joe dispenza retreat so we never had much time to do much but was a lovely city

Not in my nature, but I disliked about anything in this recent booking. 1) The hotel management only informed us about constructional works 24h upfront our arrival. The works had a huge impact on site exposure. 2) The two rooms had an extreme noisy airco 3) the sheets on the bed were winter bedding, extreme hot in the middle of summer creating discomfort 4) the breakfast was quite absent, no choice, no bacon and eggs, no meats... extremely poor 5) very poor hotel despite earlier read feedback... very poor

Rheinfelden exist out of Rheinfelden/Germany and Rheinfelden/Switzerland. Hotel Rheinbruecke is on the German Side, very quite. Absolute the best Breakfast I had in 20 Years traveling. The Swiss Site is, for Visits, the nicer site. Hotel Rheinbruecke's Personal and Owner are extremely friendly People and go out their way to be of Service.

An excellent base for exploring all parts of that area of...

An excellent base for exploring all parts of that area of Switzerland but requires a car or use of public transport to get to the main sites and scenery. We use it as a great value base for exploring by car and you'd be hard pressed to beat it for quality and value in that capacity.

For walkers there is the lovely walk up to the Habsburg...

For walkers there is the lovely walk up to the Habsburg castle through the forest. A bus going there too. On the other side of the river Aare there is the Bruggerberg. A visit to the local Museum 😀 Cafes and Restaurants offer a variety of menus. Ideal for trips to Zürich Luzern Bern Basel and further afield.

the location of the hotel is great and the staff is very...

the location of the hotel is great and the staff is very fiendly . However the price / quality is not correct . No airco in the room , bathroom and especially shower needs to be modernized and not working properly . The breakfast is not according to the normal standards and certainly not considering the price .

A great base to have when exploring Switzerland.

A great base to have when exploring Switzerland. Basel is full of history and has one of the best local history museums I've seen. One could spend the whole day in the Basel Historical Museum. From the Bronze Age to modern times, this place has it. Various restaurants and all types of shopping dot the Old Town area. The transportation system(city trams and trains) is on time and efficient. We explored Zermatt and Lucerne, while keeping a base in Basel. The international airport has easy access from downtown.
