The rooms are very clean, cozy and have all the amenities and comfortable. Very well managed temperature and the beds are nice too. We had a lovely balcony looking outside. Breakfast is very nice too... and the staff is the best you will ever find in Switzerland. Ask for Nadeem, Maya and Heidi. They are lovely!

We feel very lucky to have found Chalet Valerie for our little family vacation. The apartment was clean and comfortable with an incredible view of the mountains and a beautiful, well curated garden. The view from this town is amazing. The shuttle service into Zermatt saved hundreds of dollars for me as a solo traveler letting me not book directly in Zermatt itself. All the staff were very helpful and my dinner at the restaurant was also very good and classy. While skiing in the USA has gotten very corporate and some ski town locals struggle to keep up, the locals in Switzerland have kept organic and family oriented business intact. Support this family and their multi generational family business!

The staff are friendly and helpful. It's apparently a 4th generation of family ownership. The room has a spectacular view and was comfortable and private. The breakfast had everything you wanted to start your day, and dinner is a fine dining experience with innovative offerings. It is also possible to ski to and from the hotel. There's a free shuttle into town

Beautiful ground floor apartment with a private entrance from the garden, the 2 bedrooms were spacious and well furnished. The kitchen & living room were facing the garden. Lots of toys, equipment for kids & babies, very practical. The chalet is 3min walk in a car-free area of the village. Daily parking is 7-15 chf/day. Pet-friendly 👍

Great value for price. Very central, but quiet location. So many great choices at the breakfast buffet. Very clean and cozy room. And last but not least the nicest staff (espc. Elsbeth). Highly recommend.
