The hotel is in a great location, especially if you're visiting nearby watch manufacturing companies. Besides the hotel's own restaurant, there are some bars, restaurants, pizzerias, and kebab shops within a short walking distance. The room and bathroom were spacious and spotless, having been recently renovated along with the elevator. The breakfast was decent.

I thought the rating of 7 is a bit harsh as I found the hotel to be quite adequate. Yes the property is old, but it is well maintained and clean. Adequate free parking and lovely view of the lake contributed to a pleasant stay. Did not take dinner or breakfast so can’t speak to the food service.

Every meal was fabulous. Excellent food, artistically arranged, delicious. The room was comfortable; the bed was very comfortable. Separate heaters in main room and in bathroom. The owner was so very gracious, pleasant and hard-working. We felt like we were good friends with her, by the end of our 3-night stay.

From the start, Alicia, the Owner's wife, greeted us with a smile and 2 dozen roses! Let me explain... we are celebrating our 40th Wedding Anniversary by walking the Via Francigena, and Hotel Le Funi de Cosonnay is our #1 stay. THEY ARE AMAZING!!! If you go to Cosonnay, go to Hotel Funi, PERIOD! They offered us a welcome drink on their gorgeous terrace overlooking Lake Geneva and the Alps. The room was spotless! The bed and pillows perfect! The view from our room was spectacular! This was our best overnight on the Via by far... The breakfast was delicious with everything you can imagine. We were able to do a load of laundry (no charge) including a dryer!. Thank you, thank you, thank you to all the staff for an exceptional job well done!
