Our room overlooking the water was spacious and beautifully decorated- my husband, who can be critical, remarked that it was one of the nicest rooms we had been to in an extended time. Lovely small veranda to sit and view the water along with goats (and cute kid goats) grazing outside. Very quiet and peaceful. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good selection and was fresh. Dinner also lovely with good service and nice tables again with water views. There are plentiful tables outside but the weather was a little cool so we sat inside.

We loved the hotel, however, the breakfast was somewhat sparse.

We were in the area for a sports competition but wanted to be near the historic district. The location was absolutely perfect. Great food and sightseeing in walking distance and the staff was very knowledgeable of the area.

Overlooking Lake Zürich, the Seedamm Plaza enjoys a unique location on the shores opposite of the historic city of Rapperswil.

So clean and super friendly staff! Everything was very modern and even more beautiful than the pictures. The location is right by the water so it’s a beautiful stay.

Lake view, great breakfast, kind service, spacious room. The hotel was extremely clean. Snacks and water were provided in the room. You could also fill your bottle of water in the corridor. Magnificent location to public transport (Pffäfikon SZ train station/bus 180). Additionally, there is a nice park at the lake nearby where in summer days one can chill. A morning run at the lake was a cherry on the cake!

Located right next to Wädenswil Train Station, a 30-minute train ride from Zurich, Hotel Engel am Bahnhof offers free WiFi. The restaurant overlooks Lake Zurich and serves Swiss and Italian cuisine.
