One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in. Attention to detail was impeccable. We requested an early check in (3 hours early) with only 30 mins notice and they said yes straight away. We got there and they came straight out to help with luggage and then parked our car for us. Complimentary welcome drinks in the conservatory over looking the mountains. The suite was absolutely stunning. 3 balconies with gorgeous views. We stayed with our 3 children (16,15 & 11) so they made 3 beds up in the living area. Children all said their beds were really comfortable, as was ours. All the amenities you would need, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, moisturiser etc. We had a Christmas tree in the room which made it feel like home from home. The most perfect place to stop at Christmas. The breakfast was great. Hot & cold options. Everything freshly made and lots of choices. We were the only family of 5 staying there, and there was a table set up for us each morning which was a nice touch. No need to pull chairs around and squeeze in etc. Lovely little touches everywhere, Christmas cookies each morning. A present (a huge stunning candle) on Christmas Day with a lovely hand written note. The spa was gorgeous. Always nice and quiet in there. Sauna/ steam room, jacuzzi pool and outdoor heated pool and more. We all enjoyed it. Children loved going in the pools. I loved being able to call the bar upstairs and order a glass of champagne whilst relaxing on a sun longer. Great position with many restaurants & bars within walking distance. The hotel recommended a few places and booked us tables etc. We booked skiing and lessons through Experience Champéry which was recommended by the hotel. It’s opposite the hotel so it was easy to pop in and confirm my booking. They also gave me a discount code for 20% of ski rentals from the Berra shop just a few doors down. I would 100% recommend this hotel for couples or families.

This was my second stay at Beau-Séjour and I enjoyed it as much as my first. Cozy and clean bedroom, very kind and helpful staff, delicious breakfast, and a relaxing spa area with a panoramic view of the Dents du Midi mountains. The hotel is also only a few minutes away from the gondola cableway, which was great for skiing. Will be back again.

Chalet Montriond is in a perfect ski in ski out location and has breathtaking views of the mountains. It has recently been taking over by new owners who go above and beyond to ensure that your stay is a perfect one. All the staff that work at chalet Montriond are approachable, friendly and extremely helpful and are willing to help with any inquiries you may have in a professional manner. Breakfast is good and as Chalet Montriond is under new ownership and not long be open, the restaurant is open on limited days for evening meals at the present time, but the chef is exceptional, (This is a temporary situation and will change in the very near future), even catering for my food allergy at short notice however, there are other restaurants within walking distance. As a guest you are made to feel like a valued customer.

Beautifully appointed hotel in the sublime Abondance Valley. The room was the key to my enjoyment: in a word, superb. The staff were friendly and attentive. The breakfast was first rate and dinner – a gargantuan beef rib grilled in front of us on an open fire, magnificent.

The hotel was incredible!! Fabulous location with breathtaking views and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind - especially the concierge. He went out of his way to prepare a breakfast for us to take when we had a very early checkout. We loved the amazing restaurants and buffet breakfast. We also enjoyed the spa treatments.

The friendly staff and the kids club for the kids, the two indoor pools, the jacuzzi and the Turkish sauna are really perfect. I had a great time with my three kids. There is a playground and a deer farm in the backyard, so there is no time to be bored. I want to visit again. My heart is 100% true.

If you are looking for view, you are in for a treat! The Mountains View room is just breathtaking. The staff cannot make you feel more welcome and taken care of. The breakfast is amazing as well full of local produce and fresh fruit. We will for sure come back again many times!

Les Gets is a beautiful alpine village in Haute Savoie.

Les Gets is a beautiful alpine village in Haute Savoie. There are many activities for families; The Wibit water park on the lake, the all-year toboggan run, trampolines, not speaking of the great mtb/downhill trails. Highly recommend choosing an accomodation that offers the Multipass; you can access many activities for free or with a discount :)

Great location for outdoors people, plenty of activities, ample choice of places to eat. First time in the summer for me, skied several times. Will visit in summer again. Good transport links and local buses.

The town is very small so it's very easy to get around.

The town is very small so it's very easy to get around. The town itself is very nice and clean, there are lots of flowers. The views are stunning. The hotel guests are provided with passes allowing to use the cable cars to go up the mountains for hiking or just walking. The same passes also provide free access to the town swimming pool.

The village is perfect for skiing and non skiing holidays lovely relaxed place excellent restaurants, good local bus service which is free. Beautiful scenery and places to walk. Good shops and very helpful friendly staff everywhere. Relaxing and stress free place as most things are very close.

Driving up the mountain was quite an adventure for someone like me, accustomed to the pancake-flat roads of the Netherlands. The winding roads were challenging, especially with a few cars descending as I made my way up. At one point, I even had to turn around after missing a left turn just past a restaurant—but what a blessing in disguise that was, giving me an extra moment to take in the breathtaking scenery. We spent our skiing holiday with 8 adults at the accommodation Les Dents du Midi-Echo de la corne. The apartment is beautifully decorated in a country house style. A pellet stove provides additional warmth in the evening and adds to the atmosphere. The kitchen was sufficiently equipped for 8 people. The double beds are equipped with a large blanket, which should be taken into account if you bring your own bed linen. The facility as a whole is rather simple, but sufficient. The problem, however, were the choleric hosts. They shouted at us several times and told us to follow orders (that weren't clear before) in a raised voice: - when parking in the yard on the day of arrival because we didn't park according to the host's expectations - for unlocking the entrance door when unloading ski equipment - for the dishwasher still running and one tablet hadn't been put in the cupboard when we handed over the apartment, even though we paid the final cleaning fee and tidied up the kitchen properly - The bedding on the sofa had a large yellow stain. Since we had our own bedding with us, we took off the host's bedding and put it aside and used our own. During the handover there was a long instruction that we had not acted properly and should have informed the hosts immediately. In the end we felt humiliated and just wanted to get away from there. This stay will be remembered as a bad nightmare.

It is a perfect place to feel the alpine ambiance, quietness all together with the always present swiss cows with their bells accompanying our daily experiences. The location is just special and retired from the crowded chalets in Champéry. Generous owners that decided to share his paradise. Don´t miss this opportunity!

It's a brilliant option for families and learner skiers with...

It's a brilliant option for families and learner skiers with lots of easy slopes suitable for beginner and intermediate skiers. The village is very authetic and quaint with a reat choice of restaurants, cafes, ski hire shops and a little supermarket. The close proximity to Geneva is such a selling point for us as we can hire a car and rive in just over an hour to the village.

I was always a massive lover of the 3 valleys, this area being very close behind, honestly, couldn't wait to get back this year after probably 3 years, its now a 50/50 call in my view which is best, maybe even slightly swaying to this amazing area, fantastic

We stayed for six days in Champery in January for skiing in...

We stayed for six days in Champery in January for skiing in Portes-du-Soleil. The ski resort is huge. We were able to never do the same run and lift three days in a row. Champery is a historic Suisse alpine village with nicely presented shops, bars and restaurants. Expect to spend approx +30% in Switzerland on everything - especially food. Be prepared that some shops take only cash and impose any cash withdrawal fees on you.
