AustraliaAt our stay at Hotel Conrad in January we stayed in a great studio in Chasa Conrad.(The building opposite the main Hotel) which has the self contained studio and apartments. The staff were so friendly and helpful. though not a surprise as I had contacted the hotel via email before our arrival and Duri was vey helpful and patient with my enquires, When we arrived Susie showed us around, she apologised for her English, but in fact it was very good as we discovered along with her wicked sense of humour. She took us to our studio apartment which was even better than the photos, it overlooked the courtyard area, was beautifully fitted out, spacious and had everything you could want and need.
Included was breakfast daily in the restaurant of the hotel, the food was home made and beautiful. as well as fruit salad, yoghurt, juices etc the selection of cold meats and cheeses were the best of local produce, a great range of the freshest breads and croissants, and freshly home baked cake each day. Also eggs anyway you wanted were cooked to order. Matilde always made sure we had plenty and offered us more coffee or tea. I think probably the best breakfast in Scuol. She also put up with and encouraged us practising our bad Swiss German. Hotel Conrad and the team create a a wonderful relaxing family hotel stay.
The location of Hotel Conrad is in the centre of the beautiful and historic centre of Scuol, one of the prettiest Swiss villages I've ever been in. It is very convenient for getting to Motta Naluns ski slopes as one of the free bus passes through the courtyard nearby. It's also only a short walk to the main street, restaurants and the spa bath. Its a delightful and quiet area. We loved Hotel Conrad and Scuol so much we stayed an extra night. I would thoroughly recommend Hotel Conrad, and as others have said it is good value.

United StatesWow! Where do I begin! When you approach the village you will be in amazement by the Castle of Tarasp that you see set high up on a rocky hill! Then when you arrive at the hotel, it looks like a scene from a fairy-tale! Beautiful flowers everywhere and the structure of the building is very pleasing to the eye! The staff are super friendly and very kind! They will make sure that you are having a wonderful time! I was surprised when I saw my room and the spectacular view from the windows! I had the single room with the four-poster bed and no detail was spared! The architecture in my room was amazing and beautiful woodwork too! The bed even had a remote control so you could sit up or put your feet up! Nice stereo system too! When you look out the windows you see snow capped peaks, a beautiful lake, green pastures and if you stick your head out the window and look to your right, you see the most Amazing view of the medieval Tarasp Castle! There's a beautiful garden filled with flowers located on different levels of the property! When you're walking through the halls, staircase and dining rooms, you will be taken back in time by all of the pictures and alpine memorabilia! The place is just so colorful to look at! There are picturesque hikes all around the quaint little village! Breakfast and dinner were very delicious too! When I come back to this area, I will stay here again! Thanks for making my visit so Spectacular! 😁

This is a reasonably priced, comfortable hotel located in the center of town. Scuol itself is surrounded by some lovely smaller villages and on a future visit I believe I'd choose to stay in accommodations in one of these. It is the Alpine beauty surrounding Scuol that is the real attraction, not anything in town. The hotel has some construction underway just behind it, overlooked by the balconies for each room. When I arrived, I requested a different room, higher up and farther away from the noise and dust, and the management was extremely accommodating. They also allowed me to extend my stay by a night upon request and I very much appreciated the flexibility. The view from the balcony of my second room was exquisite. The beds are comfortable, the furnishings clean and basic, the room size sufficient and breakfast was plentiful, if also basic and unoriginal. The venison dinner I had the second night was delicious, perfectly cooked, but pricey (40 euros). The garage was convenient, they accepted my small dog and there's a large public spa connected to the hotel, although I didn't have time to use it. All in all, a good very good choice for a few nights in an amazingly lovely place.

Every minute in this place is a true pleasure and a feast for the senses and tastes. You can relax in comfortable rooms or on terraces overlooking the beautiful mountains or the historic town. If you feel like a short walk with views, you can take a stroll through the town, the ruins of the castle and then a longer path into the mountains, where you can listen to the sounds of nature among the meadows and pastures. The owners will surround you with care and take care of every detail, we are on the Grand Tour of Switzerland and this is our number 1 of the entire tour. We recommend the place for accommodation to all motorcyclists and not only. Ps. An excellent choice for breakfast will recharge your energy for the nearby trails and mountain passes. Big plus for the possibility to prepare sandwiches and coffee for the road.

Possibly my favorite hotel ever. Everything was spot on, from the views, helpful staff, so many things included in the price - a la carte breakfast, wellness area, goodies in the room..., to decor, authentic style and tradition incorporated in the design. Planning my next stay here :)

Sent is an interesting mosaic.
Sent is an interesting mosaic. It is a small village situated on a high terrace above the En River in the Lower Engagin region. Its threads include farmers, artists/artisans, families, retirees and visitors. The tourist economy supports the village but doesn't define it; that's not always the case in Swiss mountain towns. The outdoor recreation opportunities are plentiful and super high-quality. The people are welcoming. It is a welcoming oasis.

Scuol combines picturesque mountain views, ski slopes and thermas. You can skiing, hiking in tthe mountains and bathing. It's wery quiet place with ainchent atmosphere. You can visit Swizz National Park and Tarasp Castle (constructed in 1040).

nice base for walks in the area. Walking around Scuol involves little climbing and descending. It is recommended to take the elevator up and then walk to Prui. This is also a very easy gentle descent, feasible for all types of hikers. For the challenge you go from Prui to Ftan, but we took the chairlift. There are plenty of options for eating out in the center of Scuol. However, restaurants do not open until 6 p.m. and reservations are recommended.
